Goalkeeper Waiver Wire Pickups – Fantrax & Sleeper GW21

Senne Lammens, Manchester United (30% Fantrax, 34% Sleeper)

While Lammens hasn't been great over his last two starts, he did post a 17-point clean sheet on Boxing Day and gets to face inconsistent, injury-hampered Burnley in Gameweek 21. Lammens may not see a ton of save chances, but he will have a strong shot at a clean sheet with United now being led by interim manager Darren Fletcher following the Ruben Amorim sacking.

Defender Waiver Wire Picks - Fantrax & Sleeper GW21

James Hill, Bournemouth (1% Fantrax, 2% Sleeper)

Hill had a strong showing in the defeat to Arsenal at the weekend, scoring 10.25 points despite conceding three goals. While the majority of those points came from a whopping 13 clearances, a number unlikely to repeat, Hill finds himself in a similar matchup at home against Tottenham in Gameweek 21. Hill has taken up a center-back role the last two matches in place of Bafode Diakite, and he seems to maintain that role. While attacking upside will be limited, he should continue to accrue defensive stats.

Jorrel Hato, Chelsea (3% Fantrax, 2% Sleeper)

Marc Cucurella could remain out for one more match due to a hamstring injury and while Hato didn't start Sunday against Manchester City, he flashed some upside with eight points in just 27 minutes from the bench. There's a chance he could be given a run out at full-back against Fulham on Wednesday, though it's unclear what rotation will look like going forward with Enzo Maresca no longer leading the team.

While I don't like to repeat players, Ferdi Kadioglu should still be on the radar if available in your league. He put up 20 points in the 2-0 win over Burnley and remains on less than 50 percent of Fantrax and Sleeper rosters.

Midfielder Waiver Wire Picks - Fantrax & Sleeper GW21

Vitaly Janelt, Brentford (13% Fantrax, 16% Sleeper)

Defensive midfielders often get overlooked, but Janelt is in a rich vein of form with performances of 16, 8.5, 11.5 and a season-high 24 points during Sunday's 4-2 win over Everton. Janelt may have just posted his ceiling game for the season, but there's still reason for optimism as he's flashed attacking upside due to a role on corner kicks over the last four matches.

In that span, Janelt has three assists while totaling five chances created and 14 crosses in addition to maintaining his solid floor from defensive actions.

Lewis Miley, Everton (25% Fantrax, 22% Sleeper)

Miley has taken over a role at right-back, starting four straight matches at the position, and it's opened up some attacking value from wide areas. Miley was a recommendation a few weeks ago due to garnering a role on set pieces and while he's kept that role, he's also offering more value from open play of late.

Miley, unfortunately, isn't eligible for clean sheet bonus points, but I don't think that's enough to dissuade me from using him this week against Leeds if I'm in need of a midfielder.

Forward Waiver Wire Picks - Fantrax & Sleeper GW21

Randal Kolo Muani, Tottenham (33% Fantrax, 35% Sleeper)

Mohammed Kudus was injured during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Sunderland and Kolo Muani replaced him while scoring eight points in 70 minutes. Kudus will likely miss Wednesday's trip to Bournemouth while Brennan Johnson was sold to Crystal Palac,e opening up more opportunities for Kolo Muani.

Of course, a spot in the starting XI isn't guaranteed as Xavi Simons returns from a three-game suspension leaving Kolo Muani to battle for a start with Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel.

Tolu Arokodare, Wolverhampton (6% Fantrax, 9% Sleeper)

Many low owned forwards posted solid stat lines in Gameweek 20, but Arokodare is the one who has been the most consistent in recent weeks. The hope is that Wolves have finally broken out of their historically awful season and Arokodare continues to start up front after scoring in double figures in two of his last three matches.

There's not a ton to love at forward and other widely available options on Wolves include Hwang Hee-Chan and Mateus Mane. Other readily available forwards include Sunderland's Brian Brobbey, Brighton's Charalampos Kostoulas and Fulham's Kevin.

Final Thoughts: Fantrax & Sleeper Waiver Wire Picks for GW21

With fixture congestion increasing and rotation becoming more common, proactive waiver wire management is critical in Fantrax and Sleeper leagues. Targeting players with improving roles, secure minutes, and favourable short-term fixtures can provide a meaningful edge during Gameweek 21 and beyond.

As always, monitor team news and starting lineups before kickoff to maximise the value of your waiver claims.
