MATCHES (EDT)
Sunday, 8:30 a.m: Arsenal v. West Ham
Sunday, 8:30 a.m: Stoke City v. Burnley
Sunday, 11:30 a.m: Manchester City v. Swansea City
FORWARDS
Kevin De Bruyne, MCI v. SWA ($10,300): De Bruyne is the safe cash-game play from a Manchester City side that have already clinched the title but will be playing at home to celebrate in front of their supporters. With a full squad expected because of a lack of Champions League football during the midweek, a goal onslaught wouldn't be surprising. Gabriel Jesus ($8,600) comes in with the best anytime goal scorer odds -- not to mention a goal in back-to-back games -- though his floor is quite low if he doesn't get on the scoresheet. Paying up for Raheem Sterling ($9,200), who has one goal on nine shots and two assists on six chances created in his last three games, isn't a bad idea either, and the same can be said for Leroy Sane ($8,500), though his returns haven't been great of late.
Marko Arnautovic, WHU at ARS ($7,000): Facing Arsenal at the Emirates isn't usually a situation you want to put yourself in, but with the Gunners potentially resting a number of regular starters ahead of Thursday's Europa League match against Atletico Madrid, the matchup isn't nearly as bad. Arnautovic comes in with two goals on 12 shots (six on goal) and one assist in his last three games, and no one outside of Arsenal or Man City have better anytime goal scorer odds. He's not a crosser, so you're depending on shots and fouls drawn for a floor, but a weaker Arsenal side could allow for both.
Reiss Nelson, ARS v. WHU ($4,500): Nelson was disappointing in his first start last weekend, finishing with just three fantasy points in 64 minutes. That being said, he could offer access to an Arsenal side still expected to score multiple goals. Paying up for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ($10,600) is an obvious option as well, though you'll have to get creative if you want to pair him with a Man City attacker.
MIDFIELDERS
Granit Xhaka, ARS v. WHU ($5,900): With Arsenal expected to rest many regular starters in preparation for Thursday's Europa League match with Atletico Madrid, Xhaka could have a major role on set pieces, a situation that has contributed to back-to-back games with more than 11 fantasy points. If manager Arsene Wenger decides to sit Xhaka and and Mesut Ozil ($8,100) then Mohamed Elneny ($3,100) could be a huge value if he's on corners.
Joao Mario, WHU at ARS ($5,700): The return of Manuel Lanzini ($6,000) clouds Joao Mario's situation a little, as they could both split corners with centerback Aaron Cresswell ($5,100) or one could be left out in the cold. Their prices aren't drastically different but I'd still prefer to take my chances with Joao Mario, who has had a nice floor recently with fouls drawn and shots in addition to his crosses. Again, the matchup at the Emirates isn't as bad as it seems, so there should be some freedom for the West Ham attackers.
Johann Berg Gudmundsson, BUR at STK ($7,800): Facing off against the 19th-place team in the Premier League is never a bad thing, especially when you're the main set piece taker for a side fighting for their first-ever Europa League berth. Gudmundsson has been a solid distributor of late, picking up an assist in three of his last four games, creating 10 chances over that span. The Clarets have been a much more attacking side after reaching 40 points, and there's little reason to think Stoke can easily slow them down.
DEFENDERS
Arthur Masuaku, WHU at ARS ($4,600): Cresswell is the West Ham defender who gets a lot of attention because of his role on set pieces, but Masuaku is the one who is used more regularly in the attack. He showed what kind of returns he can produce last weekend when he had one shot, seven crosses, two tackles won and two fouls drawn against Stoke City, and with the Irons expected to attack for three points at the Emirates against a possibly depleted Arsenal defense, Masuaku's price is worth the risk.
Moritz Bauer, STK v. BUR ($4,400): Bauer has lined up as an attacking midfielder in the past three games, and while the fantasy returns haven't been prolific, it's tough to expect much in matches against Arsenal and Tottenham. Burnley have been very solid defensively this season, but Stoke's desperation for three points could have him much more active in terms of crosses and shots.
Vincent Kompany, MCI v. SWA ($3,700): This is a pure narrative play, with Kompany the Man City captain on the first day they play at home following their capture of the Premier League title. Sure, you could see that he's gotten on the scoresheet in back-to-back starts and City have the best clean sheet odds on the slate, but if you're rostering Kompany it's for the luckbox goal.
GOALKEEPER
Joe Hart, WHU at ARS ($3,900): Hart is a terrible goalkeeper, but he's made five saves in each of his past two games and will now be facing an Arsenal side that could be heavily rotated and looking ahead to Thursday's Europa League match against Atletico Madrid. If you're paying down at the position, I think Hart makes more sense than Lukasz Fabianski ($3,600) because I think Man City will come out blazing, but if you have a little extra salary, Nick Pope ($4,500) is probably the right call.
