2025 Fantasy Outlook
Woll led the Maple Leafs with 42 games played, though his workload was due to some injuries Anthony Stolarz battled. When both were healthy, the crease was split pretty evenly between them, and the results were pretty good regardless of who was between the pipes. Stolarz's numbers were better, but Woll performed at a fine level with a 27-14-1 record, a 2.73 GAA and a .909 save percentage in 2024-25. Both goalies are under contract for 2025-26, so it's safe to assume the Maple Leafs won't make a change in goal. Even if they get an even split of starts again, the 27-year-old Woll is a viable No. 2 goalie in fantasy who could emerge as a low-end No. 1 if he gets a run of starts. Read Past Outlooks

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Woll is a talented netminder, but talent is irrelevant if you can't stay on the ice. The 26-year-old has played just 36 NHL games over the last three seasons (37 AHL). If healthy, Woll could deliver a top-12 performance behind a vastly improved Leafs blue line and a high-scoring offense. He's an above-average netminder with the kind of unflappable vibe that's needed in Toronto. He's shown periods of elite play, he went 6-1-0 with a 2.16 GAA and .932 save percentage in limited games in 2022-23, but fantasy managers need to use caution with Woll until he can stay out of the infirmary. The Leafs will be focusing on his off-ice work in an attempt to keep him healthy. They brought in elite backup, Anthony Stolarz, to be Woll's NBo. 2. Make sure you have a lot of net options if you take the plunge with Woll.
