The PGA Tour's Dallas-area swing continues this week with the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. It's a course that has traditionally led to classic champions, though predicting anything this season on the PGA Tour has been exceptionally tough.
History Lesson
The defending champion is Boo Weekley, who beat Matt Kuchar by one stroke. In 2012, Zach Johnson defeated Jason Dufner by one. Johnson also won in 2010 when he beat Brian Davis by three. In 2011, David Toms beat Charlie Wi by a shot.
Johnson, of course, is one of our two recommendations this week. Besides the two wins at Colonial, Johnson has a win this year - the season-opening Hyundai Tournament of Champions - along with a third at the Humana Challenge and two other top-10 finishes. Statistically, he ranks fifth in driving accuracy, 35th in greens in regulation and 28th in strokes gained-putting.
Our other recommendation is Kuchar, who keeps racking up top-10 finish after top-10 finish. He has a whopping nine top-10s in 13 starts this season, including his victory at the RBC Heritage. He also ranks 25th in driving accuracy, 14th in strokes gained-putting and first in scoring average.

Adam Scott makes his debut as the No. 1-ranked player in the world this week, in addition to Jimmy Walker, Rickie Fowler, Graham DeLaet, Harris English, Bill Haas, Jordan Spieth and Brandt Snedeker.

Still looking for his first PGA Tour win, DeLaet has had a solid 2013-14 season, nabbing two second-place finishes, six top-10s and seven top-25s in 14 starts. Statistically, he ranks 21st in the FedEx Cup points standings, first in greens in regulation and eighth in total driving.
Sunday Surgers
These players performed well Sunday and could help your fantasy team this week.
John Senden - Senden shot a final-round 66 that moved him up 27 spots on the final leaderboard into a T11 finish. He's 15th in greens in regulation this year and seventh in sand save percentage.
Kevin Kisner - Kisner also shot a Sunday 66 that bumped him up 31 spots and gave him a T16 finish. For the week, Kisner was 34th in strokes gained-putting and 25th in putts per green in regulation.
Brian Harman - Harman produced a fourth-round 65 that shot him up 40 spots to a T29 finish. He finished the week T20 in greens in regulation.
