Extension candidate
OTSeattle Seahawks
June 17, 2025
Cross is a candidate to receive a contract extension this summer, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Cross will be with the Seahawks through at least the 2026 season, as the team picked up the fifth-year option on his rookie contract. Seattle has struggled to develop and maintain talent along the offensive line for much of general manager John Schneider's tenure, particularly at left tackle, so extending Cross figures to be a top priority. The 24-year-old will likely want a deal near the top of the market but he has allowed a significant amount of pressure throughout his career, a potential sticking point in negotiations.
