CFL Betting: CFL Bets and Parlays for Week 20
We have a game with postseason implications in Saturday's doubleheader in the Argonauts-Stampeders nightcap. Calgary did punch its postseason ticket by virtue of the Elks' loss to the Lions on Friday night, but the Stamps are still vying for positioning and ideally host a West Semi-Final game.

Toronto Argonauts at Calgary Stampeders (Saturday, Oct. 18, 7:00 p.m ET)
The Stampeders took care of business in Week 19 with an impressive 37-20 road win over the Tiger-Cats, and there was a bit of delayed gratification for them Friday when they were able to clinch a playoff spot from the comfort of their couch. However, as alluded to above, they still have plenty of incentive for this Saturday night clash, considering a home playoff game always offers a significant advantage.
In contrast, the Argos are playing for pride as they play out the final game of a title-defense season that went drastically wrong. Toronto is 5-12 and never got Chad Kelly back from the broken leg he suffered last postseason. Nick Arbuckle did a fine job most of the season as his fill-in, but he's out due to a shoulder injury and have turned to Jarret Doege to finish out the season. Doege has been serviceable over the last two games but also prone to plenty of turnovers, tossing five picks in that span.
The Stamps should be able to run a balanced attack in this spot with Toronto struggling against both the run and at preventing big plays throught the air. The Argos have allowed a league-high 32 TD passes and 35 completions of 30+ yards. Stampeders QB Vernon Adams certainly has the ability to exploit those weaknesses and threw for 301 yards on just 17 completions in Calgary's 29-19 win over Toronto on the road in Week 2.
Given the difference in talent and experience at QB and the levels of motivation that should be at play, this is a game the hosts should control and thrive offensively in. The prices on most straight bets involving the Stamps are prohibitive, however, so we'll roll with an SGP that backs a strong start to the game and an eventual victory.
