It's another action-packed day ahead of Wednesday's College Basketball action with six top-25 games tonight. DraftKings features a $15 Pull Up Jumper contest with a $5,000 top prize, while FanDuel highlights the $9 All-American and $1,000 to first. Both sites tip-off at 7 p.m. EST.
Top Players
Payton Willis, G, Minnesota ($9,200 DK)
Upside potential is huge in GPPs and Willis provides just that with a pair of 50+ point fantasy performances in his last five games, making him worth paying up for. He gets a great matchup against Nebraska, as the Huskers have yet to win in the Big Ten and allowed 85+ points in each of their last two games. Willis is leading Minnesota in usage rate and is shooting 49 percent with 2.7 threes made per game.
Josh Carlton, G/F, Houston ($7,000 DK, $7,500 FD)
Houston's offense hasn't skipped a beat since the loss of Marcus Sasser for the season, with Carlton stepping up as the team's main and best offensive option. Over his last 10 games, he's averaging a whopping 1.31 fantasy points per minute with three double-doubles during that stretch. This should be a great spot for the 6-11 post player against an SMU squad that doesn't start anyone over 6-5.
Middle Tier
Josh Minott, F, Memphis ($6,300 DK, $6,700 FD)
Minott has emerged for the Tigers over the second half of the season, shooting 55 percent from the floor with two double-doubles over the last seven games. He also contributes fantasy points on the defensive end, combining for an average of three blocks and steals combined over the last five games. With Emoni Bates (back) likely out, Minott is a good bet to see at least 30 minutes tonight.
Prentiss Hubb, G, Notre Dame ($5,600 DK, $6,300 FD)
Hubb had an efficient outing in Notre Dame's first matchup with Louisville, putting up a 12-5-5 stat line on 67 percent shooting. With Nate Laszewski looking like he may not be able to play tonight, that should lock Hubb into barely coming off the court while seeing a bigger role in the offense. Louisville has also been a mess lately -- going through a coaching change, losing five in a row and allowing 90+ points in each of its last two games.
Values
Sion James, G/F, Tulane ($4,800 DK)
James becomes a must-have at this price, as he's very likely to outperform his salary expectation, having recorded over 20 fantasy points in five-straight games. Tulane is not a deep team at all, often playing a seven-man rotation, and James is likely to play at least 35 minutes as long as the game stays competitive. He also played well in the team's first meeting, making three 3-pointers en route to a 32.5 point performance.
Luis Rodriguez, G/F, Ole Miss ($4,500 DK, $5,800 FD)
Rodriguez gets a hefty discount compared to his FanDuel salary, coming in at $1,300 cheaper and making him a difficult fade as a result. Rodriguez has been back-and-forth between a starting and a bench role, but it doesn't seem to matter much, as he still logged over 30 minutes off the bench the last two games. He has a solid matchup as well against Alabama, who likes to push the pace and has been weaker on the defensive end.
