This article is part of our DFS College Basketball series.
The Wednesday College Basketball DFS action features several Power-5 conference teams including four ranked in the top-25. It's a seven-game slate on DraftKings that's highlighted by their $10 Big Jam contest and a $2,000 top payout, with FanDuel offering their $7.77 All American contest with $1,000 to first. Both sites start at 7 p.m. EST.
Top Players
Taz Sherman, G, West Virginia ($7,500 DK, $7,700 FD)
Sherman has been a workhorse for the Mountaineers this season, taking one-third of the team's shots when he's on the court, which is the most of anyone playing tonight. That gives him the upside to be one of the highest scoring options, and he's recorded a pair of 40+ point fantasy games over his last three. Sherman can also provide in a variety of statistical categories, as he leads the team in assists and has multiple steals in over half of his games thus far.
Justin Bean, F, Utah St. ($7,400 DK, $9,000 FD)
It's difficult to pass up Bean on DraftKings with a $1,600 discount from his FanDuel pricing, as he leads all players on the slate with 47.7 fantasy ppg. His efficiency has been off the charts this season, with shooting splits of 69/56/87 to go along with seven double-doubles. It's not as if the Aggies have played a soft schedule, either, having played three top-60 KenPom teams in which Bean averaged 25.3 points and 14.7 rebounds in those games.
Middle Tier
Brad Davison, G, Wisconsin ($6,600 DK, $6,400 FD)
Davison is a prime target in this price range with his combination of playing time and activity in the offense. He often plays 35+ minutes in close games with the Badgers' lack of backcourt depth while averaging over 11 shots per game. With Johnny Davis being the focal point of the opposition's defensive game plan, Davison has reaped the benefits with back-to-back 20+ point scoring games and would need an off-shooting night to not live up to his salary.
Marcus Bingham, F, Michigan St. ($6,300 DK, $5,600 FD)
Bingham has made the most of his time on the floor, averaging a dominant 1.32 fantasy points per minute, the third-best in today's player pool, but comes in with an average price tag. This should be a green-light matchup against a struggling Minnesota offense that should provide Bingham with ample rebounding and shot-blocking opportunities. The 7-footer will have a size advantage as well, with the Golden Gophers not having a rotation player over 6-9.
Values
Kur Kuath, F, Marquette ($3,900 DK)
Kuath is coming off a disappointing game in which he only scored two points, but it was against a tough Wisconsin defense with size in the paint. This should be a better matchup against a Kansas State squad that in its most recent game allowed 19 points and seven rebounds to the opposing center. Kuath has also been a dominant defensive presence this season, averaging 2.8 rejections per game.
Jordan Hawkins, G, UConn ($3,800 DK, $4,600 FD)
With starters Adama Sanogo and Tyrese Martin both out with injuries, Hawkins has started the last two games and most recently responded with 15 points in just 22 minutes due to the blowout nature of the game. It wouldn't be a surprise to see the freshman see closer to 30 minutes tonight in what should be a closely-contested game. Hawkins has shown great range from deep early on, connecting on 44 percent of his three-point attempts.
