Auburn at Mississippi

The Tigers are proving to have an outstanding offensive attack. They rank in the top 15 nationally in adjusted efficiency, offensive rebounding, and free-throw attempt rate. These numbers have held up since the conference season began, and, at the same time, league competition has exposed Mississippi's defense. During conference play, the Rebels rank third-worst in defensive efficiency in the SEC and are in the bottom five in effective field goal percentage allowed and defensive rebounding.

When playing in the other direction, Ole Miss has performed marginally better against league competition. The Rebels rank ninth in offensive efficiency, but they are among the bottom five in effective field goal percentage, offensive rebounding, and free throw attempts. Not exactly positive signs for an offense.

Auburn's defense can be a liability at times, but it's great at forcing turnovers and securing boards, ranking fourth in turnover percentage and second in rebounding percentage among SEC teams during conference play.

Given the better offensive attack, I'm going with the Tigers.

College Basketball Best Bet: Auburn -2.5

Starting in December, Missouri sports betting is live, and you can check in on the best Missouri sportsbook promos if you're located in the Show Me State.

Texas Tech at Baylor

The most significant advantage in this matchup belongs to Texas Tech. The Raiders are among the best at collecting offensive boards, ranking 81st in offensive rebounding percentage, and coincidentally, the Bears are among the worst at boxing out, ranking 307th in defensive rebounding percentage. It's also worth noting that Baylor's defensive rebounding problem has only worsened in recent weeks, allowing a higher number of boards and ranking last in the Big 12 during conference play.

At the other end of the court, the Bears are also skilled at tallying offensive boards, although this strength is neutralized by the Red Raiders, who boast the highest defensive rebounding percentage in the Big 12 during conference play.

The other key difference between the two teams is the level of defensive play. Texas Tech ranks substantially higher in efficiency than Baylor (34th vs. 96th), and the former has flashed a high ceiling on numerous occasions, defeating potential title contenders such as Duke and BYU.

My money's on the Red Raiders in this one.

College Basketball Best Bet: Texas Tech -1.5

Georgia at Missouri

Much like in the game above, this matchup also features a glaring disadvantage in the paint. Specifically, Missouri has been outstanding on the offensive glass throughout the season, posting an offensive rebounding percentage that ranks among the top 50. Georgia, in contrast, has struggled to secure the defensive glass, ranking among the 80 worst teams in defensive rebounding percentage.

Missouri is also better in two other key areas. First, it's better at shooting the ball, logging higher percentages throughout the entire season and the conference season. The Tigers have shot the ball particularly well against league competition, boasting the highest effective field goal percentage in the SEC. They also have the second-highest free-throw attempt rate and two-point field goal percentage, having made 58 percent against conference opponents.

Second, Missouri has played better defense than Georgia since the start of the conference season. Among SEC teams, Missouri ranks third in defensive efficiency and effective field goal percentage allowed, and it boasts the best two-point field goal defense, holding SEC opponents to under 47 percent on shot attempts inside the arc. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, rank fourth in defensive efficiency, sixth in effective field-goal percentage allowed, and ninth in two-point field-goal defense, allowing SEC opponents to make 54 percent.

Considering the location of Tuesday's game and how Missouri matches up against Georgia, I gotta go with the Tigers in this spot.
