Power Conferences

Malik Messina-Moore, G/F/C, Xavier (Fantrax Ownership: 1%)

Messina-Moore has had his three best fantasy performances of the season come in his last three games. Over that stretch he is putting up 20.0 points, 5.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 three-pointers and 2.3 steals per contest. The assists and shooting from the outside are a welcome bonus for a player who has center eligibility on Fantrax. Xavier plays at a fast pace on offense, which has been helpful to Messina-Moore's fantasy value.

Jamier Jones, F/C, Providence (2%)

It was a slow start to his freshman campaign, but Jones has now cracked the starting five and has turned into a pretty significant contributor. Jones has started his last five games and is averaging 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals over that stretch while shooting 63 percent from the field and 43 percent from behind the arc. This would be a great week to pick up Jones with the Friars taking on two teams in Marquette and

This would be a great week to pick up Jones with the Friars taking on two teams in Marquette and Georgetown who are outside the top 100 in defensive efficiency.

CJ Gunn, G, DePaul (1%)

Gunn is coming off his best game of the season in which he dropped 31 points, seven rebounds and three assists while going 7-for-13 from deep. Gunn has been a steady producer over his last 10 games averaging 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 three-pointers and 1.8 assists with a 28.6 percent usage rate over that stretch.

Layden Blocker, G, DePaul (1%)

Gunn's teammate has been trending up as well. Blocker is putting up 13.2 points, 4.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.4 three-pointers over the last five games. The 6-2 guard is shooting over 41 percent from deep over that stretch as well. DePaul will get Butler and Seton Hall this week.

Carson Cooper, F/C, Michigan State (4%)

Michigan State has the No. 1 ranked defense on KenPom and Cooper has been a big reason for that. Over his last 10 games he is putting up 10.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 blocks. The Spartans are in the mix of the easiest portion of their Big Ten schedule with three straight opponents that rank outside the top 85 on KenPom.

Langston Reynolds, G, Minnesota (9%)

Reynolds has been very productive of late as he is averaging 14.0 points, 6.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds over the last five games. Reynolds already has three games this season with double-digit assists. The Golden Gophers play at a slow pace, but they rank No. 1 in assists per field goals made and Reynolds is a big part of that. Ohio State and Nebraska are up next.

Tramon Mark, G, Texas (4%)

Mark has shown that he can be a top offensive option in the past and he's been trending back towards being that after an indifferent stats to the season. Mark is putting up 17.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.9 three-pointers, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals over his last eight games while shooting over 40 percent from behind the arc. Texas is a team prone to shootouts as they barely land within the top 100 in adjusted defensive efficiency.

Jayden Reid, G, Northwestern (1%)

Reid is a bit of a curious case. He had started every game until last week when he came off the bench and put up a career-high 28 points. Reid has been contributing in other areas of late as well, averaging 13.2 points, 5.8 assists, 2.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.4 three-pointers over his last five. It's not clear what coach Chris Collins' plan is with his 5-10 guard, but whether he comes off the bench or not going forward Reid should be handling the ball a lot.

Other Conferences

Dasear Haskins, G/F/C, St. Joseph's

Haskins has racked up two double-double's in his last three games. It's part of a six-game stretch in which he is averaging 11.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists. Haskins offers solid position versatility at 6-8 200 pounds. His play is a reason why St. Joseph's is currently riding a three-game winning streak in the A-10. VCU and Dayton are up next this week.

Parker Friedrichsen, G, Davidson

Friedrichsen has topped 30 fantasy points four times in his last eight games. During that stretch he is putting up 13.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.1 steals per contest. Friedrichsen is also hitting 2.9 three-pointers per game at a 51-percent clip. His backcourt mate Sam Brown has missed the last two games with a calf injury and it's unclear when he might return. That only helps Friedrichsen's value in the short-term.

DeShawn Gory, F/C, Fresno State

Gory has started every game this season as a freshman. After an up-and-down first part of the season, Gory has really locked in of late. Over his last six games the 6-6 forward is averaging 13.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Gory has a trio of double-double's over that stretch as well. He'll try to keep things rolling this week against New Mexico and Grand Canyon.

Howie Fleming, G, UNLV

Fleming has put up a few duds here and there, but he also has four games with at least 32 fantasy points this season. Fleming has done a nice job of late of filling up the stat sheet, averaging 11.7 points 5.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.6 three-pointers and 1.1 steals over the last seven games. Coach Josh Pastner likes to push the pace and Fleming seems to be one of the biggest benefactors.
