Suns Too Strong For Jazz
The Phoenix Suns defeated the visiting Utah Jazz, 129-115, at Footprint Center on Thursday evening.

The Suns jumped out to a hot start with a, 40-28, lead after one quarter. The Jazz picked up their play in the second, but the hosts kept pace and maintained a nine-point lead after one quarter. The Suns picked up momentum again in the third and outscored the visitors by 10 points int he quarter to carry a, 109-90, lead into the final frame. The Jazz kept up the fight in the fourth but it was not enough, as the Suns closed out their third straight win.

Kevin Durant led the Suns with 31 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals and two blocks, in 35 minutes. Bradley Beal followed up with 30 points, two rebounds, seven assists and a steal, while Eric Gordon tallied 19 points, two rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block.

Meanwhile, Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz with 22 points and five rebounds, in 34 minutes. John Collins followed up with 21 points, 14 rebounds and a steal, while Collin Sexton added 19 points, four rebounds, eight assists and a block.

The Jazz (26-27) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Warriors on Monday. The Suns (31-21) take on the Warriors in Golden State on Saturday.
