Mavericks Top Knicks, 122-108
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the New York Knicks, 122-108, at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night.

The two teams came into the interconference clash having been active prior to the afternoon's trade deadline, but they had to roll with their existing lineups Thursday. However, that meant the Knicks (33-19) were operating without Jalen Brunson (ankle), and his absence was felt during a first half when the Mavericks (29-23) outscored them by a 59-48 margin. Dallas then added another five points to its advantage in the third quarter and then kept the hosts at a safe distance the rest of the way.

Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with a 36-point, 11-assist double-double that included eight rebounds, four steals and one block. Tim Hardaway supplied 19 points, two rebounds and two assists. Derrick Jones furnished 18 points, five boards and three assists. Kyrie Irving registered 16 points, five rebounds and five assists. Josh Green totaled 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block.

Donte DiVincenzo paced the Knicks with 36 points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal. Josh Hart generated a 23-point, 12-assist, 10-rebound triple-double that included one steal. Miles McBride supplied 18 points, six rebounds, five assists and one steal. Precious Achiuwa delivered 13 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and one block. Isaiah Hartenstein posted 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.

The Mavericks return home to host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday afternoon, while the Knicks host the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.
