Best NBA Bets Today (Friday, Jan. 23)

Giannis Antetokounmpo over 10.5 REB vs. Denver Nuggets (-117)

DraftKings, 12:47 PM CT

Nick Whalen: We hit this same play on Wednesday night against OKC, and Giannis is in a similar spot tonight against a Nuggets team that's struggled to rebound since Nikola Jokic went down. Over the last 10 games, the Nuggets rank 29th in TRB% (ahead of only OKC), 27th in DREB% and dead-last in OREB%. Meanwhile, Giannis has racked up 31 boards over his last two games, despite a relatively limited workload (31, 30 minutes).

Trey Murphy over 21.5 points at Memphis Grizzlies (-114)

DraftKings, 12:47 PM CT

Nick Whalen: Murphy has gone under this number in two straight (21pts, 17pts), but those games came against Houston and Detroit — two of the better defensive teams in the NBA. Tonight, he gets a matchup against a Grizzlies team that ranks 23rd in defensive rating and fifth in points allowed over the last 10 games. Memphis is also allowing the third-most three-point attempts in that span (41.2 3PA/G).

Mark Williams over 9.5 rebounds at Atlanta Hawks (-101)

DraftKings, 4:49 PM CT

Alex Barutha: The Hawks have really struggled on the glass lately, allowing the third-most rebounds per 48 minutes across the past 10 games (47.2). In the past 30 days alone, they've allowed nine games of 11+ rebounds to players classified as centers or forward/centers -- including Deandre Ayton (18), Ariel Hukporti (16), Karl-Anthony Towns (15) and Kel'el Ware (13). Williams is averaging 8.8 rebounds across his past 15 games and has hit 10+ rebounds in 11 of his 39 appearances.
