Tuesday's MLB slate begins at 12:10 PM Eastern time and features all 30 teams. Highlighted below are value plays at every position. Those value plays include two affordable pitchers in a slate without many aces, as well as two cheap bats located near the top of the Tigers order.

PITCHER
Eric Lauer, SD at NYM ($27): The Mets have a league-low .635 OPS against left-handed pitching, with no other team coming in below .650. Additionally, New York ranks last in the majors in home scoring at just 3.12 runs per game. With a 3.17 ERA since the beginning of June, Lauer has the skills necessary to keep this underwhelming lineup at bay while allowing owners to spend big at other positions.
Drew Pomeranz, BOS at BAL ($33): Pomeranz (biceps) makes for a sneaky-good play in his first start off the DL. Given the disparity in records between these teams, the southpaw should have no trouble getting into the win column if he can make it through five innings. Baltimore ranks third-worst in the league against lefties with a .660 OPS, and the Orioles figure to be even more of a cakewalk now sans Manny Machado. Pomeranz could also be due for some positive regression in the strikeout department now that he's healthy, as his 20.8 percent strikeout rate is well below the 29-year-old veteran's career 22.9 percent mark.

CATCHER
Buster Posey, SF at SEA ($9): Posey's extremely undervalued at $9, even with ace James Paxton taking the mound for the Mariners. While Paxton's better than your average lefty, Posey's .374 wOBA in that split this season and .399 career mark make him a can't-miss option here.
FIRST BASE
Josh Bell, PIT at CLE ($16): The switch-hitting Bell has been a bit better from the left side in his career, producing a .338 wOBA against right-handed pitching compared to a .328 mark when facing southpaws. Batting from his preferred side promises to pay off for Bell against Indians righty Shane Bieber, who has struggled to get left-handed hitters out in his first seven major-league starts. While Bieber's wOBA allowed in righty-on-righty situations is just .249, the 94 guys to face him from the left side have produced a .411 mark. Bell should also benefit from Progressive Field's third-ranked, 1.28 park factor.
SECOND BASE
Ronny Rodriguez, DET at KC ($8): Rodriguez has struggled to put it all together at the major-league level, but the 26-year-old infielder has been batting in the top third of Detroit's order recently after posting a terrific .338/.365/.558 line in 63 Triple-A games this season. With Kansas City sending uninspiring righty Burch Smith (5.98 ERA in 43.2 innings) to the mound, Rodriguez is a nice investment at just $1 more than the minimum.
THIRD BASE
Eugenio Suarez, CIN vs. STL ($23): Suarez has raked against left-handed pitching this season, producing a .482 wOBA to go with 16 walks in 98 plate appearances. Don't expect him to slow down against Cardinals southpaw Austin Gomber, who has a 5.22 xFIP as a reliever and will be making his first major-league start.
SHORTSTOP
Andrelton Simmons, LAA vs. CWS ($15): Simmons has punished lefties this season with a .365 wOBA in 96 at-bats. The Angels' two-hole hitter is likely to continue his success in that split against Chicago's Carlos Rodon, who has allowed a .362 road wOBA to batters from the right side in 2018.
OUTFIELD
Khris Davis, OAK at TEX ($15): Davis' immense power gives him tremendous upside relative to price, and he's got a great chance to cash in on that upside here. Rangers lefty Mike Minor has a .346 wOBA allowed to batters from the right side and a HR/9 of 1.45, so Davis has a great chance of launching one into the seats at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Texas' hitter-friendly venue tops the charts in both park factor (1.33) and home run park factor (1.39).
Marcell Ozuna, STL at CIN ($11): Ozuna has underperformed in his first season with St. Louis, but the former Marlins outfielder continues to bat in the cleanup spot for the Redbirds. That prominent lineup placement coupled with the fact that Ozuna managed a .400 wOBA in righty-on-righty matchups just last season make him a nice value at $11 against Reds right-hander Homer Bailey, who will be making his first start since May 28 due to right knee inflammation. Prior to going down, Bailey was allowing a .394 wOBA to batters from the right side after surrendering an identical .394 mark to them last season.
Leonys Martin, DET at KC ($11): Martin's another affordable Tigers bat worth a look against Smith. The left-handed hitting leadoff man has a .352 wOBA in 212 at-bats facing right-handed pitching while the Royals righty has a .407 career wOBA allowed to batters from the left side.
