Brutal loss on the under 10 runs in the Yankees/Royals game last night!

Cincinnati Reds at Atlanta Braves   7:20 PM ET

Sonny Gray vs. Drew Smyly

I lost on this bet yesterday, but I will come back and do it again as this Reds lineup is just too potent.  I like the fact we get the number at 4.5 instead of 5.5. As I wrote yesterday, this is the best offense in baseball over the last 30 days.  Drew Smyly has pitched better of late with a 3.41 ERA over his last seven outings, but he has only gone 4 innings in each of his last 3 starts.

BET – Reds over 4.5 runs (-115) for 1 RW buck

Chicago White Sox   at Minnesota Twins   8:10 PM ET

Dallas Keuchel vs. Griffin Jax

I was on the over last night for the White Sox team total and it came through in a huge way. With Eloy Jimenez and Luis Robert back in the lineup, this team is an offensive machine and will feast on weaker pitching.

Griffin Jax has settled down some allowing just 1 earned run in each of his last 3 starts. The White Sox lead the season series 13-4 and have dominated the Twins all year. The Twins are just going through the motions at this point.

BET – White Sox over 5.5 runs (-115) for 1 RW buck

Arizona Diamondbacks   at San Francisco Giants   9:45 PM ET

Zac Gallen vs. Alex Wood

The Diamondbacks find themselves in a very difficult spot tonight on the road against the Giants. They are 14-43 on the road and 7-22 against left-handed pitchers. They are also just 3-7 in their last 10 games whereas the Giants are 7-3.  Gallen has pitched well over his last 2 starts including Aug 4th when he went 5.2 innings, with 3 earned runs allowed. Wood did not pitch well in his last start against the Diamondbacks so I expect a bounce-back here as he pitched well in the prior 2 starts.

This really comes down to the Giants being the superior team all year going 12-2 against the Dbacks.

BET – Giants -1.5 (-105) for 1 RW buck

Seattle Mariners    vs. Texas Rangers   10:10 PM ET

Logan Gilbert vs. Kolby Allard

Following my theme of going against the teams out of contention (tanking), I am going against the Texas Rangers again. The Rangers are just 7-23 in their last 30 games and have lost 6 in a row. They have been outscored 40-9 in that stretch.  Meanwhile, the Mariners are still playing for a shot at a wild card spot in the American League.

The Rangers are just 13-43 on the road and 20-51 against right-handed pitching. The Mariners have played well at home all year with a 33-23 record.  Kolby Allard has struggled recently with a 7.82 ERA in his last 7 starts, while Logan Gilbert has a 3.78 ERA, 43 strikeouts, and 10 walks in his last 7.  Gilbert has allowed 0 home runs in five of seven home starts and in 10 of 14 overall starts.

BET – Gilbert under 2.5 earned runs (-120) for 1 RW buck

BET – Gilbert under 0.5 home runs (-110) for 1 RW buck
