Minnesota Twins at Cleveland Indians 6:10 PM ET
I really love Ober and what he has been able to do over his last eight starts, but there is talk that he will be splitting this game with Michael Pineda so we have to be careful. The under earned runs is a great play because if he is limited on innings and/or pitches well it should hit. Plus, he has been under 2.5 earned runs in six out of his last eight starts.
BET – Ober under 2.5 earned runs (-110 BetMgm) for 1 RW buck
Seattle Mariners at Houston Astros 7:10 PM ET
Yusei Kikuchi vs. Lance McCullers
Kikuchi just pitched against the Astros in Seattle and threw a gem going seven innings with no earned runs. But he was rocked against them in Houston on August 20th for his worst start of the season allowing seven earned runs in just two and 1/3 innings. His ERA on the season over his last 10 starts is 5.82 with a 1.61 WHIP. He is a tough pitcher to gauge with the wild inconsistency but I will lean on him having a bad outing against the Astros who are tough at home (41-25) and are 4th in runs scored at home for the first five innings.
BET – Kikuchi over 2.5 earned runs (-128 BetMgm) for 1 RW buck
Texas Rangers at Los Angeles Angels 9:07 PM ET
Alexy brought a very impressive minor league resume when he was promoted to the Rangers and he has not disappointed. He went five innings against the Rockies with just one hit and zero earned runs allowed. He also struck out four batters while walked three. While the Rockies are the clear worst team in baseball on the road, the Angels have been struggling as well. I will lean on Alexy's minor league pedigree to get the strikeout total needed tonight.
BET – Alexy over 4.5 strikeouts (-115) for 1 RW Buck
