Best Bets MLB Tuesday
Atlanta Braves
vs Chicago Cubs
Shota Imanaga Over 5.5 strikeouts (+132 at bet365 Sportsbook)
The left-hander Imanaga struck out five in last start, but perhaps more importantly, he produced his fifth consecutive quality start. The Japanese hurler is pitching deep enough into games to give himself chances of not only winning, but also striking out opponents regularly. He's fanned at least five in six straight outings, and in eight of his last nine appearances, while clearing the mark of over 5.5 punchouts five times in that stretch. There's enough evidence to believe in Imanaga reaching this mark, especially since Atlanta ranks third in the majors in strikeouts after the All-Star break with an NL-worst 377 in 43 games (8.76 per game). Only the Mariners (384) and the Angels (421) have struck out more than Atlanta in that span.

Cleveland Guardians
vs. Boston Red Sox
Garrett Crochet Over 18.5 outs (-120 at bet365 Sportsbook)
Crochet has been one of the most dominant arms in the American League, and he has recorded seven quality starts across his last eight appearances. As a result, the star southpaw has gone 5-1 with a 2.42 ERA and 63 strikeouts across 52 innings in that span while also lowering his ERA to 2.40 on the season. As if that wasn't enough, Crochet is leading the majors in strikeouts with 214 through 27 starts (172.1 innings). Given that he's completed at least six innings in all but one of his seven starts since the All-Star break, he has a good floor to reach this mark of 18.5 outs, which would require him to complete 6.1 innings pitched. He'll be facing a Guardians team that ranks 28th in batting average since the All-Star break (.223), only ahead of the Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Angels.

San Francisco Giants
vs. Colorado Rockies
Rafael Devers Over 0.5 home runs (+320 @ bet365 Sportsbook)
Even though the Giants' offense has sputtered since the acquisition of Devers before the trade deadline, the star third baseman has been turning things around and is enjoying a power surge lately. After launching two homers and going 4-for-4 against the Cubs Aug. 27, Devers has gone yard four times across his last six games, giving him 29 on the year. He went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Monday's 8-2 win over the Rockies, and he is hitting .400 with a 1.300 OPS, including an .800 slugging percentage, over his last 10 games. Since Coors Field is a hitting paradise, Devers could continue to enjoy his power surge, especially given how well he's been seeing the ball in recent weeks.
