There aren't a ton of pitchers that stand out in Tuesday's slate, making it important to get someone that has a high floor. I hopefully found that along with bats that have power, but should also get on base against some weaker arms. I stayed away from the Boston-Baltimore game due to rain likely all day.

PITCHER
Zack Wheeler, NYM vs. SDP ($9,000): Wheeler doesn't have the upside as some of the higher-priced arms, but he's consistent with at least 29 fantasy points in his last six starts. As long as he can hit the 40-point mark that should be enough, while a lot of the other guys have tougher matchups and lower floors. The Padres have been one of the worst in MLB against righties in the last month with a 26.7 K%, .103 ISO and .279 wOBA.
GPP Fade: Jose Berrios, MIN at TOR ($10,500): Berrios has some huge outings, but most of those have come against bad lineups. He hasn't gone over 25 fantasy points in three of his last four outings and that's too risky for the price. The Blue Jays aren't a powerhouse, yet their .204 ISO and .335 wOBA against righties in the last month say otherwise.
Cheap GPP Consideration: Jordan Zimmermann, DET at KAN ($8,100): Zimmermann got off to a wretched start this year, but has come around and has 22 strikeouts in his last three outings. On extra rest because of a preventative nerve injection, he gets a great matchup. The Royals are at the bottom of most lists in the last month with a 24.1 K% and .284 wOBA against righties.
CATCHER/FIRST BASE
Yonder Alonso, CLE vs. PIT ($3,200): Alonso's done most of his damage against righties this season with 12 homers and a .353 wOBA after that number was at .380 in 2017. On the mound, most of Joe Musgrove's troubles have come against lefty bats with a 4.57 xFIP this year and career .343 wOBA allowed.
SECOND BASE
Rougned Odor, TEX vs. OAK ($3,400): Odor has improved his numbers every month with June's .317 BABIP jumping to .472 in July. He's also shown more power against righties throughout his career with a .212 ISO. Frankie Montas had a nice outing the last time he was in the majors, yet still has a 4.84 xFIP against lefties in eight starts and career .415 wOBA allowed.
THIRD BASE
Matt Carpenter, STL at CIN ($4,200): This is the best play of the day, partly due to Carpenter's recent onslaught with eight homers in his last eight games, but also Homer Bailey being on the mound. The righty hurler is back from the DL having last pitched in May when he was on a run of eight-straight starts with at least three runs allowed and no more than 5.2 innings pitched.
SHORTSTOP
Yairo Munoz, STL at CIN ($2,600): Munoz is a cheaper St. Louis bat that can capitalize against Bailey with a stout .402 BABIP against righty arms in 119 plate appearances. Bailey hasn't been good against either side of the plate with a 5.24 xFIP versus righties, which follows last year's .394 wOBA allowed.
OUTFIELD
Kyle Schwarber, CHC vs. ARI ($3,500): Schwarber has all 19 of his homers against righties so he's worth a look against a shaky Clay Buchholz. The righty's been decent for the Diamondbacks, but still has a 4.22 xFIP against lefty bats, which is in line with his numbers from 2016 when he last pitched regularly with a 5.83 xFIP and .342 wOBA allowed.
Stephen Piscotty, OAK at TEX ($2,900): Piscotty's numbers are a bit off this year, but he still sports solid career stats against southpaws with a .184 ISO and .350 wOBA. Anything positive should work against Mike Minor, who was shelled for five runs in only 2.2 innings against the Orioles last time out. He's had a couple good outings, but his 5.02 xFIP against righties tells the story.
Mark Canha, OAK at TEX ($2,500): Here's another cheap bat to use against Minor and Canha may have more power with 10 of his 12 homers against lefty arms to go with a .415 wOBA. Minor has a poor 1.57 HR/9 and .346 wOBA allowed against righties.
UTILITY
C.J. Cron, TAM vs. NYY ($3,400): I wanted to go with a power bat in utility that not many others would look at. Cron's had a great season for the Rays with 14 homers and 12 doubles against righties for a .220 ISO. That'll come in useful against Masahiro Tanaka, who's been hard to trust with a brutal 2.36 HR/9 against righty bats.
