FORWARDS/MIDFIELDERS

Sebastien Haller, AJA v. LIS ($22): Robert Lewandowski and Haller lead the Champions League in scoring with nine goals a piece, while Haller has two assists to Lewandowski's one. Ajax have booked their place in the knockout rounds so you'll need to double check lineups for this start. Haller's goal record speaks for itself, he has the third-highest goalscoring odds and Ajax are favored while playing at home. Dusan Tadic ($20) is a slightly cheaper pivot who has a share of set pieces along with Ryan Gravenberch ($16). Pote (Pedro Goncalves) ($19) has been in great form for Sporting, scoring two goals in his last two Champions League appearances.

Marco Reus, DOR v. BES ($18): With Julian Brandt out due to a concussion, Marco Reus should take the majority of the set pieces for Dortmund. They're the biggest favorite on the slate playing at home against a Besiktas backline that has conceded 14 goals in five group-stage matches. Erling Haaland ($22) isn't expected to play the full 90, which leaves Reus as their top choice. Jude Bellingham ($19) is worth a consideration and has a floor around 11 points, while Donyell Malen ($17) comes in at somewhat value.

Sebastien Thill, TIR at SHK ($18): Despite playing for Sheriff in a tough group, Thill has scored more than 20 points in all five matches and is one of the more coveted players heading into Tuesday's trip to Shakhtar Donetsk. He's done it in a variety of ways, scoring goals, providing assists while also contributing defensively. He's shown a good enough floor to start regardless of matchup. Maycon ($15) takes the majority of set pieces for Shakhtar Donetsk and is a cheap option, though that status depends largely on who starts, something to monitor for all matches.

Hakan Calhanoglu, INT at MAD ($15): Real Madrid and Inter Milan are set to advance to the knockout rounds and Madrid could be fielding a side without a few key starters. Hakan Calhanoglu has been in great form as of late as he's scored four goals and provided two assists over his past six matches. In Champions League, he's created three scoring chances in all three of his starts. There should be a variety of cheap starting midfielders in this slate due to a lot of teams resting players. Tyler Morton ($11) for Liverpool may be worth a look, while Mykhailo Mudryk ($8) is even cheaper and was solid in limited minutes during his lone start.

DEFENDERS

Mats Hummels, DOR v. BES ($11): Dortmund have the best clean-sheet odds and are playing at home against a team who have scored three goals in five group-stage matches. Hummels is back from a red-card suspension and is slightly cheaper than some of the other high-end center-backs. His floor is boosted by clearances and he could be in line for a clean sheet. Nicolas Tagliafico ($14) is one of the more expensive defenders but has a favorable matchup.

Neco Williams, LIV at ACM ($7): Both Andrew Robertson ($13) and Trent Alexander-Arnold ($15) are expected to sit this match, which will give Kostas Tsimikas ($12) and Neco Williams the chance to start at full-back. While Tsimikas has been plenty productive in limited starts this season, I can't overlook Williams' price. Liverpool sealed up the group in four matches, which gave Williams a start in the last match against Porto. He finished with a serviceable 16.2 points after creating two scoring chances. Tsimikas is more of a sure thing, but I'd gamble on the cheaper player in this case. Ibrahima Konate ($10) and Joel Matip ($9) should start at center-back with Virgil van Dijk ($11) being rested.

GOALKEEPERS

Caoimhin Kelleher, LIV at ACM ($9): Liverpool are underdogs while visiting Milan and Kelleher is expected to start in place of Alisson Becker. Milan are fighting for a place in the knockouts and should put plenty of pressure on the Liverpool backline. At this price, you'll just need a couple saves to justify Kelleher's inclusion. Gregor Kobel ($14) is the most expensive expected starter but hasn't done enough to warrant that price and is someone I would overlook. Thibaut Courtois ($12) is a decent price and has had three straight matches with over 16 points. Ersin Destanoglu ($6) is the cheapest expected starter if you want to totally fade any of the favorites.
