There's a decent chance lineups will look different on a short week, so be prepared to change your squads once starting XIs come out. In addition to this being the third match following lockdown, most of these sides have had just two full days of rest.
Alassane Plea, MGL at WER ($20): I think Kai Havertz ($22) will be over-owned, especially in cash games. Maybe he's a forward on the biggest favorite of the slate and has back-to-back braces, but he has almost no floor and is playing a stout Wolfsburg back line. For comparison, Erling Haaland had zero fantasy points against Wolfsburg last match and Havertz could easily have the same line. That's why I'm going with a matchup I think will have more goals. It also helps that Plea has made the score-sheet in six of his last eight appearances. Werder Bremen are coming off a clean sheet, though they gave up seven shots on goal and were on a terrible run prior to the win, losing six of seven in league play. Borussia Monchengladbach are battling for a top-four spot and make the most sense if you're looking for a stack, at least in cash games. That points mainly to Marcus Thuram ($18), though Lars Stindl ($12) is

Bas Dost, FRAN v. FREI ($11): The Eintracht-Freiburg match is also set for goals, mainly because Eintracht matches average 3.5 goals per contest. I'd be willing to stack either of these sides, but I slightly favor Eintracht after Freiburg disappointed last match. That likely means Dost or Andre Silva ($18) up front, with each receiving a start in the past two matches. The funny part is that Dost is seven dollars cheaper than Silva despite playing the same position. Sure, I prefer Silva, but they're both averaging more than 0.40 goals per 90 minutes, and Dost is a perfect GPP play if he returns to the starting XI. More helpful is that Freiburg have allowed the most shots in the league by a wide margin. Banking on who starts in the Eintracht attack will be difficult because a lot of their guys went the full 90 Saturday, including overpriced Sebastian Rode ($17) and Filip Kostic ($15). It's unclear why Kostic shared more corners last match, but if he returns to his usual role, he could have the highest floor in the match after reaching a floor of 15.7 points in the first meeting. If Daichi Kamada ($13) starts, he's a nice GPP play, already with a hat trick and brace this season.
Nils Petersen, FREI at FRAN ($14): On the other side, Petersen is another forward who has no floor but is most likely to score for Freiburg. I hate this kind of play in the Premier League, but since there aren't many consistent floors in the Bundesliga, it's been better to go with scoring forwards the last couple slates. Petersen scored the lone goal in the prior meeting, and while he's slowed down in the second half of the season, he's still a threat in front of net. You could use Vincenzo Grifo ($15) in cash games, but even his floor is often around just 10 fantasy points. If you're stacking Freiburg, Grifo's the most reasonable candidate to be involved, while Nicolas Hofler ($12), Roland Sallai ($12) and Lucas Holer ($12) are goal-or-bust players with worse goal odds than Petersen. Jonathan Schmid ($13) has a better floor than those guys, but as a wing-back, he's unlikely to find the back of the net.
Kerem Demirbay, LEV v. WOLF ($18): I'm not going to completely avoid Leverkusen in this article, but they are a perfect fade candidate, especially because guys like Lucas Alario ($15), Nadiem Amiri ($12), Leon Bailey ($10) and Florian Wirtz ($8) could start. While they're cheap, you'll have a lot of leftover money and tinkering to do if you have to exchange out Demirbay or Moussa Diaby ($17). That said, if Demirbay doesn't start, that may push Amiri to an exclusive role on set pieces. As for Demirbay, he's been awesome the last two matches, with one goal on five shots and two assists from four chances created. In addition to set pieces, he's getting numerous opportunities on net himself to go with added defensive stats due to his central role. Again, a lot of this depends on who starts for Leverkusen because, unlike most teams, they have a stocked bench with players able to come in and start. That's something to keep in mind and could definitely have an effect against one of the more defensive teams in the league.
DEFENDERS
Edmond Tapsoba, LEV v. WOLF ($7): I'll continue to use Tapsoba as long as his price doesn't increase. He's hit double-digit fantasy points in five of his last seven Bundesliga starts, and opponent doesn't seem to matter. While Leverkusen are the favorite, it could help Tapsoba's floor that Wolfsburg force the third-most clearances and fifth-most tackles in the league. That said, there will be opportunities to spend up at defender because of the likely mixing of lineups. Again, there isn't anyone who stands above the others since all of the expensive options are only expensive because they've made the score-sheet in recent matches, something that isn't reliable. For example, Martin Hinteregger ($16) braced last match, but he has 17.4 floor points the last two matches. That's a hard pass.
Dominique Heintz, FREI at FRAN ($8): Freiburg have used a different formation the last two matches, so there's no telling who will start on the back line Tuesday. Whoever does should get plenty of work because Eintracht force the second-most clearances in the league and Heintz is the main guy to capitalize, as he averages 4.94 per 90 minutes. Maybe you can get a goal from Manuel Gulde ($14), but you also have to pay for that possible upside. Given lineup turnover, there will be plenty of cheaper defenders to use, from possible players returning from injury like Ludwig Augustinsson ($8) or regular starters like John Brooks ($7) on the biggest underdog of the slate.
GOALKEEPER
Alexander Schwolow, FREI at FRAN ($8): With three matches that have fairly high goal totals, it won't be easy to spend up on Yann Sommer ($15) or Lukas Hradecky ($14). I expect both to win, but neither are in great positions to make multiple saves, and that lack of a floor will hurt if they end up allowing at least one goal, which is something Sommer has done in each of his last 10 starts. Instead, I'll lean on my underdog bet of Freiburg and Schwolow, who made seven saves against RB Leipzig a couple starts ago. The stat that stands out for this matchup is that Freiburg allow a ton of shots, but not a ton of goals (37 in 27 matches).
