Rennes are in tremendous form this season and are playing some unexpected football, including victories over the leagues' top teams. Having already defeated Lyon 2-0 in early December, they will be confident of three points again at home. Lyon come in third in the table, though they've struggled recently, including a loss to 16th-place Monaco and a draw with 10th-place Strasbourg. Looking at their recent form, it will be more difficult for Brunco Genesio's side to beat Rennes at their home, where they are unbeaten in their last seven. Lyon will be without Kenny Tete, Ferland Mendy, Amine Gouiri, Lenny Pintor and Maxwel Cornet due to injuries.
