SLATE PREVIEW
The Leafs and Jets (8 p.m. EDT) are the lone game on Friday as they wrap up their seasons. It's a meaningless matchup with the seeds already determined for the North Division. Teams would normally be looking to rest their veterans, but the North playoff series won't start until May 19.
GOALIES
As usual in showdown formats, no goalies will be made available for selection.
VALUE PLAYS
Mathieu Perreault, WPG vs. TOR ($6,500): The playmaking winger has recorded an assist in two straight games and he's slated to skate on the second line with Paul Stastny and Pierre-Luc Dubois. The assists came against the Canucks and scoring against the Leafs will be much harder, but Perreault could see more ice time in what is essentially a warmup game and is also valued as a bottom-six player.
LINE STACKS
Maple Leafs at Jets
Auston Matthews (C - $15,500), Mitch Marner (W - $14,000), Alex Galchenyuk (W - $7,500)
Galchenyuk on this line means the Leafs' top trio will come at a $500 discount to the Jets' top unit, and that includes Blake Wheeler with only two helpers in eight against the Leafs. Matthews and Marner offers high offensive ceilings with a combined 23 points against the Jets, while Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor have combined for just 17.
DEFENSEMEN
Jake Muzzin, TOR at WPG ($9,000): There's a huge premium for Muzzin, who's on a four-game point streak, but FanDuel's showdown slate doesn't require you to select a defenseman. If one is desired, Muzzin is probably the best option for the Leafs.
Neal Pionk, WPG vs. TOR ($8,500): Josh Morrissey may get all the minutes, but it's Pionk who's been the more reliable source of offense. He's on a three-game assist streak and leads all Jets defensemen with 32 points this season, including eight helpers against the Leafs while quarterbacking the top power play.
