Bell had a strong rookie campaign after being selected in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The Michigan product survived training camp roster cuts in order to carve out a role on special teams. Bell had a nose for the end zone when asked to fill in for injured starters, accruing three receiving touchdowns on just six official receptions in his rookie season. Bell was selected by San Francisco in the seventh round after spending five years at Michigan and finishing with 145 receptions, 2,269 yards and nine touchdowns over 41 games. The 6-foot wideout doesn't bring much explosiveness to the table, but he has reliable hands and could be more pro-ready than most rookies given his lengthy college career. Bell is a candidate to land on the 49ers' practice squad to start the year given the team's current strength at the position.
