2024 Fantasy Outlook
Vele was selected by the Broncos in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and he joins a receiving corps looking to take a step forward with some new faces in town. The wideout had success at Utah, taking advantage of his 6-4, 203-pound frame and 4.47 speed. If Vele can acclimate to the NFL quickly, he could carve out a role in Denver based on his size and athletic ability. He'll face competition to secure a spot on the team in a depth role, so Vele will need to earn a spot on the roster without requiring a huge amount of development as a 26-year old rookie. RANKS
Quiet against Ravens
Vele secured two of his three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 41-10 loss to the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Vele earned three targets for the third straight game, yet he continued to struggle to make much of his opportunities. In five games, the rookie wideout is averaging 3.6 receptions and 35.2 yards per game. Vele played 29 of the Broncos' 72 offensive snaps Sunday, tied for third amongst wide receivers with fellow rookie Troy Franklin. The 26-year-old should continue to struggle for fantasy purposes as Denver's No. 4 receiver when the Broncos visit the Chiefs in Week 10.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Chance to earn more playing time
Vele has an opportunity to establish a consistent role in the Broncos' offense over the next couple of games after Josh Reynolds underwent finger surgery on his right hand, Jeff Legwood of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Vele had a strong NFL debut in Week 1 against the Seahawks, when he caught eight passes on as many targets for 39 yards. He missed the next game due to a rib injury, but he has been a healthy scratch over the last three contests. Vele should be on the active roster for as long as Reynolds remains sidelined, which gives the former the opportunity to establish a larger role in the Broncos' offense and serve as a short-yardage safety valve for rookie quarterback Bo Nix.
