MNF Week 3 Picks: Ravens vs Lions
The Detroit Lions travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens in an inter-conference matchup on Monday Night Football. The Lions are coming off a huge win against the Bears, while the Ravens also had a lopsided win against the Browns. Both teams can light up the scoreboard so it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Total OVER 52.5 (FanDuel -118) / UNDER 53.5 (BetRivers -108)
First-half spread: Lions +2.5 (DraftKings -102) or Lions -3.0 (Bet365 -110), Ravens -2.5 (DraftKings -118)
First-half money line: Lions (Bet365 +150), Ravens (Caesars -170)
Lions total points: Over 24.5 (ESPN Bet +100) / Under 24.5 (ESPN Bet -130)
Ravens total points: Over 29.5 (DraftKings -108) / Under 29.5 (DraftKings -112)
The Ravens opened as 3.5 point home favorites, and it moved to -6.0 on 9/9, -6.5 on 9/10, before coming back down to -6.0, -5.5, -5.0, and now sitting at -4.5. I can not help but think that so many people bought the Ravens at -3.5 and then came back to grab the Lions at -5.5 to -6.5 to hedge.
The total opened 49.5 and took a huge move up to 51.5 on 9/14, 52.5 on 9/17, and peaked at 54 before settling at 53.5. Both teams have explosive offenses and several injuries on the defensive side of the ball.
The majority of the bets (64%) have come in on the Ravens, and the handle (57%) is on the Lions which reflects there is split action and the sharps are on Detroit.
The total sees money on the Under at 82% of total bets, and 75% of the handle on the OVER, which makes an extreme split play. The moneyline shows who has taken a position on the game, and the Ravens have received 90% of the bets and 67% of the handle.

Lions vs. Ravens Prediction
While both teams can move the ball and put up points, I do think the Lions will try to establish the run early and often in this game to keep the Ravens' offense off the field. The trends on Jared Goff playing outdoors are a real thing, and the Ravens in prime time have been dominant.
I feel more confident in the Ravens team total going over than I do in the game, as they could put up 34-40 points in this spot and the Lions could be sitting at 17-20 points.
Ravens 30, Lions 24
