Giants at Broncos Betting Odds, Picks and Predictions for Week 7

After the Giants upset the Philadelphia Eagles last week, they are riding high coming into their Week 7 road matchup against the Broncos. Still, they are just 2-4 on the season, and won't get WR Malik Nabers (knee) back until next year. Let's dig into this matchup and highlight three wagers to consider.

Mike Barner's season record: 20-16 (+0.52 units)

Giants at Broncos Betting Odds

Giants: Spread +7.5 (-125 ESPN Bet), +320 Moneyline (ESPN Bet)
Broncos: Spread -7 (-108 BetRivers), -350 Moneyline (BetMGM)
Game Total: Over: 39.5 points (-115 DraftKings), Under: 40.5 (-110 Bet365)

Giants WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) has not returned to practice yet, putting him on pace to miss his second straight game. The Broncos don't have any offensive skill players of note on their injury report.

Giants at Broncos Betting Picks

Broncos QB Bo Nix Over 4.5 rush attempts (-151 DraftKings Sportsbook - 1 Unit)

Nix showed his ability to impact a game with his legs during his rookie season, rushing 92 times for 430 yards and four touchdowns. That averages out to 5.4 rushing attempts per game. That trend has continued this season, with Nix recording at least five carries in four of his six games. In three of those games, he had at least six rushing attempts.

The Giants can put a lot of pressure on quarterbacks with their stellar pass rush that includes Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Abdul Carter. With quarterbacks often being forced to scramble against them, the Giants are tied for the sixth-most rushing attempts allowed to the position. There is plenty of juice with this wager, but the over is still appealing for the mobile Nix.

Giants QB Jaxson Dart Over 38.5 rushing yards (-113 DraftKings Sportsbook - 1 Unit)

The Giants are likely going to be a run-heavy team that is led by Dart and fellow rookie RB Cam Skattebo, given their lack of talent at wide receiver right now. With Nabers and Slayton out last week, Skattebo had 19 carries and Dart ran the ball 13 times. Dart only attempted 25 passes, leaving him with 25 or fewer pass attempts in two of his three starts.

In his three starts, Dart has racked up 30 rushing attempts. That helped him total at least 54 rushing yards in each game. The Broncos are arguably the best defensive team that Dart has faced yet, but the Giants' game plan is clear at this point. They are going to try and use Dart's legs to help them turn around the franchise. With the potential for him to reach double-digit carries again, it wouldn't be a surprise if Dart at least approaches 50 rushing yards again.

Broncos TE Evan Engram Over 25.5 receiving yards (-114 FanDuel Sportsbook - 1 Unit)

Engram got off to a quiet start this season before missing Week 3 with an injury. Since returning, he has made more of an impact with his new squad. After posting five receptions for 42 yards versus the Jets last week, Engram has at least four receptions and 29 receiving yards in each of his last three games. The key was, he was targeted at least six times in each matchup.

The Broncos seemingly want to make Engram a key part of their passing attack, targeting him on 27.5 percent of his routes run. The Giants were tormented by Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert last week, allowing him to rack up nine receptions for 110 yards and one touchdown. This stands out as one of the top props to target for this matchup.

Giants at Broncos Prediction

At the very least, Dart and Skattebo have made the Giants dangerous again. However, being without their top two wide receivers against a Broncos team that has allowed 15.8 points per game is not encouraging for their hopes of earning another victory. Look for the Broncos' defense to help lead them to a win at home.

Broncos 23, Giants 16
