There are only three games left for NFL betting this season, but they are the most meaningful.

With the AFC and NFC Championship games on Sunday, RotoWire used ChatGPT to predict the results for both of Sunday's Conference Championship games. We asked the AI tool for 10 simulations of both matchups, with scores, using NFL rosters and available injury information as of Jan. 20. We then averaged the margin of victory for each matchup. RotoWire.com, where you can find the best NFL betting promo codes, got these simulated results:

Here is a look at both games. All times below are Eastern.

New England Patriots at Denver Broncos (3 p.m. Sunday, CBS)

The Broncos are the No. 1 seed and host for the AFC Championship Game, but you'd never know it by listening to the analysis or looking at the wagering lines at US sportsbook apps heading into Sunday's game.

That's mostly because starting quarterback Bo Nix, who led Denver to its first playoff victory since 2015 with Saturday's 33-30 overtime thriller over the Buffalo Bills, broke a bone in his ankle near the end of that game and is out for the rest of the postseason. Nix had 279 passing yards and three touchdowns in that Division Round game.

Now the Broncos will turn to backup QB Jarrett Stidham, who has not attempted a pass since the end of the 2023-24 regular season. Stidham (above) has two starts in a six-year journeyman career. His resume probably doesn't inspire confidence in Broncos fans, and it surely doesn't inspire oddsmakers and the betting public because Caesars Sportsbook has the Patriots listed as a 4.5-point road favorite as of Tuesday morning.

No. 2 seed New England travels west riding the arm of MVP candidate Drake Maye and a defense that has allowed an average of 9.5 points and 314.5 yards per game through two playoff contests.

The Patriots have lost just once since a 1-2 start to the regular season and forced a season-high five turnovers in a 28-16 victory over the Houston Texans in the Division Round. ChatGPT projected the Pats to win seven out of 10 simulated meetings.

Those wishing to back Stidham and the top-seeded Broncos can get the home team and 5.5 points at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks (6:30 p.m. Sunday, FOX)

After surviving wild finishes in their first two playoff games, the Rams head into the NFC Championship Game with an offense that has generated at least 333 yards in each of the past nine games, including playoffs. Fifth-seeded L.A. is averaging 427.9 yards per game over that span but needed overtime to break the 20-point barrier for the 13th consecutive game, edging the host Chicago Bears 20-17.

These NFC West rivals split their regular-season meetings in a way one might not expect. On Nov. 16 at SoFi Stadium, the Rams only generated 249 yards of offense, their second-worst total of the season, but beat the Seahawks 21-19. In the rematch on Dec. 18 at Lumen Field, L.A. gained a season-high 581 yards but lost 38-37 in overtime.

AI is split as well, with 10 simulated games winding up 5-5.

The point total is set at 47.5; those wishing to wager on the over can get it at -105 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Seahawks are favored by 2.5 points across the board, basically accounting for homefield advantage.

No. 1 seed Seattle returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and won the turnover margin 3-0 in a 41-6 romp over another division rival, the San Francisco 49ers, in the Division Round. Kenneth Walker III ran for 116 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries, sparking the Seahawks to their most lopsided victory since 2020.

Customers using the BetMGM bonus code can get the best odds on the Rams to win at +130 on the moneyline as of Jan. 20.

NFL Conference Championship Game Projections Q&A

Q: How did ChatGPT simulate NFL Conference Championship games?

A: RotoWire ran 10 simulations for both Conference Championship playoff games using ChatGPT, with rosters updated as of Jan. 20, 2026. Each game produced projected scores, a winner, and a calculated average margin of victory (MOV). This allowed us to compare not only who wins most often but also how decisively they win.

Q: Which team dominated the ChatGPT simulations?

A: The New England Patriots were projected to win seven out of 10 times against host Denver in the AFC Championship Game, largely because the Broncos are forced to start Jarrett Stidham at quarterback with Bo Nix (ankle) out injured.

Q: Which was the closest or most balanced matchup in the simulations?

A: The Seahawks and Rams were projected as a 5-5 split after 10 simulated runs of the NFC Championship Game in Seattle. The NFC West division rivals each won one regular-season meeting, with both teams holding the edge at home.
