Walter Tavares often stands out among the crowd, and Juan Pablo Aravena expects the Real Madrid big man to continue doing so in the EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge.

Guard

Nadir Hifi, Paris Basketball (14.2 credits)

Hifi ranks eighth among guards in fantasy points over the last five Rounds at 80.30, and over that span he averaged 20.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per contest. He is coming off a rare single-digit night in the scoring column, but he is primed to bounce back against a Dubai team that allows its opponents to put up plenty of points -- particularly those filling the guard spots.

Talen Horton-Tucker, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul (12.6 credits)

Horton-Tucker benefited from the absence of Wade Baldwin IV to record a career-high 28 points in the win over Virtus Bologna in Round 23. With the quick turnaround Baldwin probably will not be 100 percent Friday, so look for Horton-Tucker to remain busier than usual. He has racked up 90.10 FPT over his last five appearances -- good for fifth among guards league-wide.

Carsen Edwards, Virtus Bologna (12.3 credits)

Edwards is plenty familiar with big nights in the points column, but he erupted for 35 points in Wednesday's loss to Fenerbahce. The star guard has been on a tear of late, averaging 26.7 ppg over the last three Rounds while putting at least 20 points on the board in six of his last nine appearances. One of those -- a 29-point night -- came against Red Star in December, so he could keep rolling against the same opponent in Round 24.

Andreas Obst, FC Bayern Munich (9.6 credits)

Obst remains among the best value options out there -- even if he currently leaves a bad taste in mouths following a late scratch Tuesday. He is a game-time decision Thursday, which will make it tough to keep him in there given the tip-off time. However, he scored at least 15 points in each of the last five Rounds and Valencia is vulnerable against opposing backcourt players, so there is at least reason to consider the gamble.

Forward

Trey Lyles, Real Madrid (14.3 credits)

Lyles has been outstanding this season, and he has established himself as a reliable scoring weapon due to his ability to stretch the floor. Lyles has been remarkably consistent, reaching double digits six times over the last seven Rounds while shooting a sizzling 54.5 percent from long range over that span. With the way he's playing any price is worth it.

Alpha Diallo, AS Monaco (13.5 credits)

Diallo might not stand out in any one category, but his ability to fill the stat sheet makes him a valuable fantasy commodity. He's coming off a well-rounded effort in Round 23, posting 19 points, six rebounds, two assists, three steals, two blocks and four three-pointers -- which looks a lot like the numbers he is averaging since the start of December. Only three forwards put up more fantasy points over the last five Rounds.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, Kosner Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (12.6 credits)

Luwawu-Cabarrot has been one of the most consistent scorers in the EuroLeague and has yet to post a game with fewer than 13 points. Many will be scared off by Friday's matchup with Fenerbahce, but he put 20 points on the board last time he saw the Turkish team, and Baskonia will need his scoring even more if Markus Howard remains unavailable.

Azuolas Tubelis, Zalgiris Kaunas (11.1 credits)

Tubelis has cleared 11.0 credits, but that's because of how well he has played lately. Tubelis scored at least 12 points in each of the last five Rounds, and over that stretch he averaged 16.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game while shooting an impressive 45.5 percent from three-point range. Too bad dunks aren't a category because had one of the more impressive slams of the season his last time out.

Center

Walter Tavares, Real Madrid (15.4 credits)

With Nikola Milutinov out Thursday, Tavares might be the center option for Round 24. Even though he's high-priced, the EuroLeague's all-time leader in both rebounds and blocks looks worth it, having reached double digits in the points column in six of his last nine outings. Over that stretch he averaged 10.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game while shooting 67.9 percent from the floor. Moses Wright came close, but among centers available for the latest Round no one recorded more fantasy points over the last five Rounds.

Kai Jones, Anadolu Efes Istanbul (7.7 credits)

If you opt to go with a lower-cost option at center, Jones could be your guy. He hasn't been doing a ton of scoring, but he is averaging 5.0 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in EuroLeague play this month. He's a bit of a risk, but he won't have to contend with Milutinov on the opposing side nor Vincent Poirier on his own, so he's primed to continue producing.

Head coach

Xavi Pascual, FC Barcelona

Barcelona is coming off a 93-83 win over Maccabi in Round 23 and went 3-1 over the last four Rounds. Considering Los Blaugranas get ASVEL in Round 24, Pascual is an excellent option for the head coach spot.
