AMERICAN ATHLETIC
Ventell Bryant, WR, Temple: Bryant recently returned to the lineup after missing three games with a shoulder injury and scored a touchdown right away in Saturday's 45-20 win over SMU. The sophomore had a productive year in his freshman season with 39 catches for 579 yards and three touchdowns. Considering Temple's upcoming matchup with Memphis, Bryant will be a pivotal piece if the Owls want to compete in that game.
Dontravious Wilson, RB, UCF: Wilson is fighting a timeshare for carries, yet it hasn't stopped him from scoring at least one touchdown in every game this season. The senior back has double-digit carries in four straight games and is averaging 4.6 yards per carry. He's been particularly hot of late including three touchdowns in a win at Florida International and two touchdowns in a win at East Carolina on Saturday. The Knights return home to play Tulsa this week and Wilson should be locked in for at least double-digit carries and a touchdown.
ACC
Ryan Finley, QB, NC State: Finley threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Wake Forest on Saturday which was a bit of a surprise as the Demon Deacons entered the game with the 20th ranked scoring defense. Finley has yet to throw an interception this season and has ten total touchdowns. He shouldn't have a problem continuing his strong play at quarterback this week as Notre Dame just gave up a total of 412 yards and five

He shouldn't have a problem continuing his strong play at quarterback this week as Notre Dame just gave up a total of 412 yards and five touchdowns to Syracuse's Eric Dungey.
Cam Serigne, TE, Wake Forest: On the flip side, Wake Forest
plays a Syracuse defense which gave up 50 points and 471 passing yards in a loss to Notre Dame. Serigne entered the season as one of the nation's top tight ends, but has had a slow start to the season with 11 catches for 131 yards and no touchdowns. The scoreless streak could end this week as Syracuse is giving up an average of 45 points per game to power-five opponents.
BIG 12
Nic Shimonek, QB, Texas Tech: Starter Patrick Mahomes has a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder and it's not known whether he'll be ready to go versus Kansas State this week. Shimonek was impressive in the second half of the Kansas win while completing 15-of-21 passes for 271 yards and four touchdowns. The quarterback position in the Texas Tech offense is a fantasy goldmine. Wide receivers Jonathan Giles, Cameron Batson and Dylan Cantrell are all worth rostering as well.
Justice Hill, RB, Oklahoma State: After shuffling through the
likes of Chris Carson, Rennie Childs and even Barry Sanders, the Cowboys have found a starting running back in Justice Hill. The freshman has been solid in Oklahoma State's last two games with 45 carries for 257 yards and two touchdowns. There's no reason Hill shouldn't record his third straight 100-yard game when Oklahoma State hosts an Iowa State team that gave up 469 yards on the ground in a loss to Baylor on Saturday.
BIG TEN
Donnie Corley, WR, Michigan State: Corley was a recommendation last week and he put up only four catches for 35 yards in an overtime loss to Indiana. Well, I'm going to stick with Corley for another week as BYU travels to East Lansing. BYU was torched this past week to the tune of 53 points and 505 passing yards. Quarterback Tyler O'Connor looked much better versus Indiana than he did against Wisconsin and should be able to connect with Corley against a bad BYU secondary.
Chris Godwin, WR, Penn State: Godwin was a stud in 2015 with 69 catches for 1,101 yards and five touchdowns, including four catches for 135 yards and a score versus Maryland last October. This week, Penn State will welcome Maryland and Godwin is once again the Nittany Lions' top target. Last year, these two teams combined for 61 points which, in the Big Ten, is a lot. Godwin hasn't had that breakout game in 2016 yet, so he could be available in some fantasy leagues.
CONFERENCE USA
Greg Howell, RB, Florida Atlantic: Howell received fewer carries than teammate Devin Singletary this past week, but Howell is surely the better back with two 100-yard games and five touchdowns on the season. Howell has received at least 12 carries in every game and is averaging 5.2 yards per carry. The Owls play Charlotte this week, who just gave up 207 yards and 5.2 yards per carry in a 52-17 loss to Old Dominion on Saturday.
Jeremy Cox, RB, Old Dominion: Let's try this again with the Monarchs' running backs as I gave out Ray Lawry last week. Lawry was forced to miss the game with a hamstring injury which allowed for Cox to score three touchdowns on only 10 carries. Cox has racked up a total of seven scores this season. The sophomore back is averaging 5.7 yards per carry and is likely going to add a score versus Massachusetts, even if Lawry suits up.
MAC
Jarvion Franklin, RB, Western Michigan:Jamauri Bogan managed only one carry in Saturday's dominating 49-10 win over Central Michigan as the star running back limped off early in the game with an ankle injury. In relief, Franklin impressed with 132 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. The Broncos have one of the best squads in the nation and Franklin has the skills to be an adequate fill-in if Bogan rests the ankle against Northern Illinois this week.
Nigel Kilby, TE, Eastern Michigan: Kilby has been one of the best tight ends in the nation as a freshman with 15 catches for 256 yards and three touchdowns this season. Eastern Michigan gets a Toledo team this week who gave up 55 points in a loss to BYU on Friday Night. Grab Kilby off the wire as he's the Eagles' top target in the passing game.
MOUNTAIN WEST
Kenny Potter, QB, San Jose State: Despite dealing with a leg injury, Potter made the start versus New Mexico on Saturday and threw for 314 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-41 loss. San Jose State's defense has struggled quite a bit, so Potter is likely going to have to throw all over the field when they take on a vulnerable Hawaii defense this week.
Aaron Peck, WR, Fresno State: Peck's value can be gained from his consistency this season as the senior wideout has recorded at least three catches in every game. At UNLV on Saturday, Peck had a breakout game with five catches for 194 yards and two touchdowns to give him a total of 26 catches for 462 yards and three touchdowns. Peck and the Bulldogs will go up against Nevada who gave up 38 points to a mediocre Hawaii offense this past week.
PAC-12
Sam Darnold, QB, USC: The Trojans new quarterback appears to be the real deal as he totaled four touchdowns in a 41-20 win over Arizona State on Saturday. In two starts, Darnold has two rushing touchdowns and is completing nearly 70% of his passes. With upcoming games against Colorado, Arizona and California, Darnold would be a steal if he's out there on the waiver wire.
Justin Davis, RB, USC: I'm all in on the Trojans this week as I saw enough from Davis the last two weeks to think he's going to fend off Ronald Jones for the bulk of the carries going forward. Davis has excelled at gaining yards after contact, evident from his 123 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries versus Arizona State on Saturday. With the aforementioned schedule for USC, Davis is going to be one of the best backs in the Pac-12 over the next month.
SEC
Tony Stevens, WR, Auburn: Stevens racked up 109 yards and a touchdown in Auburn's 58-7 win against Louisiana Monroe on Saturday. The Tigers will play at Mississippi State this week who have been one of the worst SEC teams on the young season. If Auburn wants to build on their 3-2 start, they're going to have to figure out their quarterback situation which means experimentation with quarterback Sean White and more targets for Stevens.
Joshua Jacobs, RB, Alabama: Jacobs has proven to be a nice replacement for Damien Harris with 197 yards and three touchdowns in his last two games. Harris made an appearance versus Kentucky on Saturday, but only rushed twice for 11 yards with a banged-up ankle. It appears Jacobs has the inside track at the bulk of the carries against Arkansas this week.
SUN BELT
Robert Davis, WR, Georgia State:In a 17-3 loss to Appalachian State
on Saturday, teammate and fellow receiver Penny Hart broke his foot and will miss the rest of the season. This should mean more targets for Davis who is already the No. 1 receiver for a bad Panthers team. Davis has caught five or more passes in three of four games this season. He's yet to break 100 yards in a game and has only the one touchdown, meaning he can be found on most waiver wires.
Elijah King, WR, Texas State: The Bobcats rank 31st in the nation in passing yards per game and will have a chance to reel off consecutive wins for the first time this season when they play Georgia State. King is one of the top receivers on the team with 14 catches for 210 yards and two touchdowns. Most of that production came in the first week when King had seven catches for 105 yards and the two touchdowns versus Ohio. While it's been slow since the breakout performance, the Bobcats did have to go up against stellar defenses such as Houston and Arkansas.
