Bo Levi Mitchell, CGY ($15,600): Mitchell continued his excellent play in last week's Finals win over the Winnipeg with a three-touchdown effort. The newly minted CFL's Most Outstanding Player was solid against Ottawa during the regular season as well, throwing for 417 and three touchdowns across two games. The Redblacks allowed the fourth-most passing touchdowns (26), the third-most passing first downs (220) and third-most passing yards per game (275.2) during the regular season, furthering Mitchell's case. Additionally, Mitchell is likely to be the lower-owned quarterback between him and Trevor Harris, considering the latter's explosive effort in the Eastern Finals last week. However, Harris' matchup against the Stampeders is notably a more difficult one, as evidenced by the fact he threw for only a combined 228 yards and generated a 0:3 TD:INT over two regular-season games against Calgary.
Diontae Spencer, OTT ($12,100): Spencer continues to arguably offer the best week-to-week floor of the Redblacks' impressive collection of receivers, as his return duties help prop up his lines even when his receiving production may not be up to par. That could well come into play versus the stingy Stamps, which typically made life hard on air attacks this season. Spencer really picked it up in the second half of the regular season, and he followed it up with a two-touchdown effort versus the Tiger-Cats in last Sunday's Eastern Final. It's also worth noting that Calgary gave up six return touchdowns during the regular season -- third most in the CFL – which could certainly bode well for the dynamic Spencer.
Eric Rogers, CGY ($10,900): The Redblacks' Greg Ellingson ($10,200) is also an option if you want to save a few hundred at this level, but as discussed earlier, his matchup isn't the easiest by any stretch. Meanwhile, Rogers is Mitchell's best big-play option in the passing game, as most recently evidenced by his 6-61-3 line versus the Blue Bombers in last Sunday's Western Final. The 27-year-old also had a four-game stretch with a combined five receiving touchdowns during the regular season, one which came against the same Redblacks squad he'll face Sunday. Ottawa also gave up 28 completions of over 30 yards (fourth most in CFL) this season , while Rogers saw an average depth of target of a robust 15.1 yards during the regular season and had a trio of catches of over 30 yards as well.
Don Jackson, CGY ($8,600): Jackson brings an appealing combination of a safe floor and modest price, making him an appealing mid-tier option that provides you flexibility elsewhere. The 25-year-old has been coming on over the last two games, turning 25 rushes into 174 yards and a touchdown against the Lions in Week 21 and the Blue Bombers in last week's Western Final. He also totaled 186 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries over two regular-season games against Ottawa, adding three receptions for 24 yards. Furthermore, the Redblacks gave up 101.9 rushing yards per game during the regular season, and Jackson has encouragingly logged double-digit carries in seven of his last eight games.
R.J. Harris, OTT ($6,100): If you're looking to go particularly cheap in one spot, Harris is arguably the top sub-$7K option available. The 26-year-old finished his first CFL season with a solid 49-697-2 line, and he added six receptions for 71 yards versus the Tiger-Cats in last Sunday's Eastern Final. The New Hampshire product could see a decent workload again Sunday, especially if the Stampeders' vaunted pass rush forces Harris into some quicker, high-percentage throws. Harris has managed six receptions apiece in three of his last four games overall and recorded four or more catches in five other contests as well, a track record that gives him a reasonable floor.
