There were six ties and 10 lead changes in this game, with neither team leading by more than 10 points. That was the Lakers near the beginning of the fourth quarter, riding a 32-24 third quarter to their win. They never relinquished the lead in that final frame. The Clippers had a game-tying attempt at the buzzer, but that shot went in-and-out. The Lakers shot 51 percent from the field and 38 percent from three-point range, while the Clippers shot 40 percent from the field and 38 percent from long range. The Lakers also outscored the Clippers in the paint, 46-40.

The Clippers (22-13) were led by Paul George, providing 22 points, four rebounds, three assists and five steals. Ivica Zubac amassed 22 points and 19 rebounds. James Harden had 15 points, four rebounds and nine assists, while Kawhi Leonard had 15 points, eight rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks. Norman Powell led the bench with 14 points and two steals.

The Lakers (18-19) were led by LeBron James, finishing with 25 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Antony Davis accrued 22 points, 10 rebounds and three steals. D'Angelo Russell led the bench with 13 points and six assists, while Christian Wood totaled nine points and 10 boards. Taurean Prince also had 13 points and two assists.

On deck for the Lakers is a home matchup with the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday. As for the Clippers, they return to action on Wednesday in the same exact matchup.
