Magic Secure Win Over Hawks After Overtime
The Orlando Magic defeated the Atlanta Hawks after overtime, 117-110, at Amway Center on Sunday.

The Magic (20-15) moved to 12-4 at home with the win, while the Hawks (14-20) fell to 9-11 when playing on the road. Orlando was the better team early on and jumped to a 32-28 score in the first quarter. Atlanta responded with a 32-19 score in the second quarter and was carrying all the momentum by the time the first half ended. However, the Hawks could not maintain that pace in the second half, and the Magic recovered the lead following a 34-18 score in the third quarter. The Magic were holding a seven-point lead entering the final 12 minutes, but the Hawks didn’t give up, and they ultimately forced overtime when Saddiq Bey tied the game with less than 20 seconds left in the fourth. The Magic were the better team in overtime, however, outscoring the Hawks to ease their way to victory.

Paolo Banchero led the way for the Magic with 35 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals. Caleb Houstan posted 25 points and four assists. Jalen Suggs finished with 16 points, five rebounds and three assists. Goga Bitadze posted 11 points, 14 rebounds and three assists. Moritz Wagner delivered 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench.

Trey Young led the way for the Hawks with 31 points, nine assists and four rebounds. Dejounte Murray had 24 points, six rebounds and two assists. Jalen Johnson finished withy 12 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. Saddiq Bey had 16 points, seven rebounds and two dimes. Bogdan Bogdanovic had 18 points and four steals coming off the bench.
