Pelicans Decimate Kings, 133-100
The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Sacramento Kings, 133-100 at Golden 1 Center on Sunday evening.

The Pelicans (22-15) opened the game hot and didn't take their foot off the gas until the fourth quarter, expanding a 12-point first-quarter lead to 25 by halftime. New Orleans then dominated the Kings (21-14) to an even greater degree during a third quarter in which they forged a 31-14 advantage, setting up the easy win.

CJ McCollum led the way for the Pelicans with 30 points, adding seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Jonas Valanciunas and Brandon Ingram generated matching 15-point contributions while posting 12 rebounds and eight assists, respectively. Dyson Daniels furnished 14 points, six assists and five rebounds. Jordan Hawkins delivered 12 points, three boards, two assists and one block. Trey Murphy and Naji Marshall supplied matching 11-point tallies while recording five assists and six rebounds, respectively.

Domantas Sabonis paced the Kings with a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double that also included six assists and one steal. Kevin Huerter matched Sabonis' scoring and added three assists, one rebound, one steal and one block. Keon Ellis turned in 13 points and two rebounds. Sasha Vezenkov managed 11 points and two boards, while Harrison Barnes and Kessler Edwards offered 10 points apiece.

The Pelicans remain on the road and visit the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, while the Kings hit the road and tangle with the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night.
