Grizzlies Close Out Second Straight Win
The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the host Phoenix Suns, 121-115, at Footprint Center on Sunday evening.

The Suns got out to a strong start and held a, 32-26, lead after one quarter. The Grizzlies picked up their play in the second but after a couple of lead changes, the Suns took a five-point lead into the break. The score stayed close early in the third, and the Grizzlies grabbed a brief lead again, before the hosts rallied to an 11-point lead entering the final quarter. The visitors turned it up in the fourth and overtook the lead less than four minutes into the quarter. The Suns kept fighting and reclaimed an edge with three minutes to go, but the Grizzlies closed the game on an, 11-3, run to secure their second straight win. This also marks the second loss in three games for the Suns.

Jaren Jackson led the Grizzlies with 28 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and a block, in 32 minutes. Marcus Smart followed up with 25 points, six rebounds, eight assists and three steals, while Desmond Bane added 23 points, five rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block.

Meanwhile, Devin Booker led the Suns with 24 points, eight assists, two steals and a block, in 37 minutes. Kevin Durant followed up with 23 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and a block, while Jusuf Nurkic logged 18 points, 19 rebounds, five assists and a block.

The Grizzlies (13-23) clash with the Mavericks in Dallas on Tuesday. The Suns (19-17) will look to bounce back as they take on the Clippers in L.A. on Monday.
