Pacers Handle Magic, 111-97
The Indiana Pacers defeated the Orlando Magic, 111-97, at Amway Center on Sunday evening.

The Magic (37-28) opened the contest clicking on all cylinders defensively, as they owned a 24-18 lead after one. The Pacers (36-29) were able to wake up offensively in the second and score 29 points, but that only led to a three-point dent in their deficit. However, Indiana's third quarter turned the tide of the game for good, as the visitors outscored the home squad by a 39-21 margin to take a lead that would prove to be enough for a solid double-digit victory.

Pascal Siakam and Tyrese Haliburton co-led the Pacers with matching 20-point, seven-rebound efforts while also recording eight and three assists, respectively. Obi Toppin and T.J. McConnell went for 17 points apiece while posting eight and six rebounds, respectively. McConnell also handed out six assists and tallied two steals. Aaron Nesmith furnished 16 points, five rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal. Myles Turner delivered 12 points, eight rebounds and six blocks.

Paolo Banchero paced the Magic with 19 points, complementing them with five rebounds, five assists and two steals. Cole Anthony supplied 16 points, three assists and two rebounds. Wendell Carter, Jr. provided a 13-point, 15-rebound double-double that included two assists, one steal and one block. Franz Wagner matched Carter's scoring and also collected four rebounds, two assists and two steals. Joe Ingles managed 11 points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal.

The Pacers next visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, while the Magic remains home and hosts the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.
