Clippers Defeat Wizards, 140-115
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the visiting Washington Wizards, 140-115, at Crypto.com Arena on Friday.

Los Angeles never gave up the lead after the first quarter, winning the second and third quarters by double-digit margins. They outscored Washington in those middle frames, 77-55, getting their lead up to 28 points at times in this blowout victory. The Clippers shot 57 percent from the field and 41 percent from three-point range while holding the Wizards to 47 percent from the field and 35 percent from long range. Los Angeles also out-rebounded Washington, 55-47.

The Wizards (9-51) were led by Kyle Kuzma, collecting 32 points and seven rebounds. Deni Avdija amassed 14 points, five rebounds and five assists. Marvin Bagley totaled 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Tyus Jones had two points and nine assists. Jordan Poole led the bench with 16 points, four rebounds and four assists.

The Clippers (38-20) were led by James Harden, finishing with 28 points, four rebounds, eight assists and three blocks. Kawhi Leonard compiled 27 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Paul George provided 22 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Terance Mann tallied 12 points and three boards. Daniel Theis rounded out the starting lineup with nine points and eight boards.

On deck for Los Angeles is a road matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday. As for Washington, they play the Utah Jazz on the road on Monday for their next outing.
