Trail Blazers Cruise Past Grizzlies
The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the host Memphis Grizzlies, 122-92, at FedEx Forum on Friday evening.

The game got out to a competitive start and the Grizzlies led, 21-17, after one quarter. The Trail Blazers turned it up a notch in the second and outscored the hosts, 34-24, to take a six-point lead into the break. The visitors kept the momentum going in the third and outscored the Grizzlies by 13 points in the quarter to push it to a 19-point deficit heading into the final frame. The Grizzlies had no answers down the stretch and fell short for their fourth straight loss. This also marks the end of a nine-game slide for the Blazers.

Jabari Walker totaled 19 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block, while Dalano Banton racked up 19 points, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal to lead the Trail Blazers. Duop Reath also came up large, with 18 points, five rebounds, two steals and two blocks.

Meanwhile, Jake LaRavia led the Grizzlies with 21 points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal, in 26 minutes. Lamar Stevens followed up with 19 points, two assists and a steal, while Jordan Goodwin tallied 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals and four blocks.

The Grizzlies (20-40) and Trail Blazers (16-42) clash again in Memphis on Saturday.
