Pacers Get Past Hornets, 116-111
The Indiana Pacers defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 116-111, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Sunday afternoon.

What would turn out to be a back-and-forth contest between two defensively suspect teams began with the Hornets (11-30) jumping out to a surprising 27-15 lead through one and the Pacers (23-18) coming right back to wipe out their deficit in the second quarter and take a two-point advantage into halftime. Charlotte would regain the momentum in the third period with a 34-26 edge during the quarter, but Indiana's 43-point haul in the final period led to the narrow home victory.

P.J. Washington led the Hornets with 22 points, complementing them with five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Terry Rozier furnished 19 points, six boards, six assists and two steals. Mason Plumlee generated an 18-point, 13-rebound double-double that included two assists. Jalen McDaniels delivered 17 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. LaMelo Ball supplied 13 points, eight assists and two rebounds.

Myles Turner paced the Pacers with 29 points, supplementing them with nine boards, four blocks and one steal. Buddy Hield registered 21 points, two assists, one rebound and one block. Andrew Nembhard managed 19 points, four assists, four steals and one block. Tyrese Haliburton generated a 16-point, 13-assist double-double that included five rebounds and three steals. Aaron Nesmith registered 15 points, six rebounds, two assists and four steals.
