Elite Players
Guards
Josh Hart, Knicks
($7,800) at Raptors
The veteran swingman has been a mainstay in the starting five over New York's last eight games, posting at least 36.8 DK points in all but one of them. Hart continues to produce on the glass and has also been able to provide value through assists and steals. In that eight-game span, the 30-year-old has averaged 15.9 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 2.0 steals across 35.3 minutes per contest.
Tyler Herro, Heat
($7,500) at Magic
Herro missed Miami's previous two games due to a right toe contusion but has been cleared to play Tuesday after logging a full practice Monday. The star guard has scored at least 20 points in each of his five regular-season appearances, finishing with 29.0-plus DK points in all of them. He has averaged 23.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 combined steals-plus-blocks per game, shooting 52.4 percent from the field and 48.4 percent from beyond the arc.
Forwards/Centers
Karl-Anthony Towns, Knicks
($9,400) at Raptors
Towns was held out of Sunday's win over Orlando due to left calf tightness and is questionable to face Toronto. However, the star big man participated in Monday's practice and appears to be trending in the right direction ahead of Tuesday's NBA Cup quarterfinals matchup. Towns has recorded at least 33.5 DK points in all but two of his 22 regular-season appearances, and he has averaged 23.3 points, 11.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in his last 10 outings.
Scottie Barnes, Raptors
($8,900) vs. Knicks
Barnes has stuffed the stat sheet on both ends of the floor throughout the season, and he has averaged 21.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 52.4 percent from the floor in his last 10 outings. The star forward has posted at least 36.8 DK points, which he recorded at New York on Nov. 30, in all but one of those 10 games.
Paolo Banchero, Magic
($8,500) vs. Heat
Banchero has struggled in his last two outings following a 10-game absence due to a groin strain, averaging 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 22.0 minutes per contest. Although it appears the Magic are easing the star forward back into action, they'll need him to step up in Tuesday's NBA Cup quarterfinals matchup with Franz Wagner (ankle) sidelined. In 11 games before sustaining the groin injury Nov. 12, Banchero averaged 23.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.6 combined steals-plus-blocks in 34.7 minutes per contest. Head coach Jamahl Mosley confirmed Banchero will remain on an unspecified minutes restriction Tuesday, though Orlando will still need its star to produce if it hopes to advance to the semifinals. It's a risky play as he's unlikely to log 30-plus minutes, but he'll likely see increased usage while he's on the floor without Wagner.
Expected Chalk
Jalen Brunson, Knicks
($9,000) at Raptors
Brunson is coming off a 30-point performance against a top-tier Orlando defense in Sunday's win. The star point guard has logged 35.5 or more DK points in each of the Knicks' last 10 games, during which he has averaged 28.0 points, 6.3 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 35.7 minutes per tilt.
Mid-Range Money
Mikal Bridges, Knicks
($6,500) at Raptors
While Bridges has reached the 20-point threshold in just six of his 23 regular-season appearances, he continues to produce on both ends of the floor. The 29-year-old swingman has generated 29.0-plus DK points in nine of his last 10 appearances, averaging 16.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.1 blocks per game during that span. In his last matchup against the Raptors on Nov. 30, he totaled 30.8 DK points.
Anthony Black, Magic
($5,400) vs. Heat
Black continues to provide a spark for Orlando and has registered at least 26.3 DK points in 10 of his last 11 games. While the 21-year-old has struggled with efficiency at times, he has still averaged 16.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals across 30.8 minutes per tilt over that 11-game stretch.
Value Picks
Wendell Carter, Magic
($5,200) vs. Heat
Carter has struggled with efficiency throughout the season and has scored in double figures just twice in his last six appearances. Still, the big man has posted 21.8-plus DK points in all but one of those six outings, during which he has averaged 9.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 combined steals-plus-blocks in 29.0 minutes per game.
Sandro Mamukelashvili, Raptors
($4,800) vs. Knicks
The 26-year-old center has been a relatively consistent source of rebounds and blocks of late, and he continues to see significant playing time behind starter Jakob Poeltl. Mamukelashvili has posted at least 19.3 DK points in four of his last five appearances, averaging 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 blocks in 24.4 minutes per game during that span. In his last matchup against the Knicks on Nov. 30, the fifth-year pro amassed 24.8 DK points, recording nine points, seven rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal over 27 minutes.
Jamal Shead, Raptors
($3,900) vs. Knicks
Immanuel Quickley was a late addition to the injury report due to an illness, which is never a good sign for a player's availability. Shead is also questionable to play due to a right quadriceps contusion, so his status will be worth monitoring ahead of tipoff at 8:30 p.m. ET. Even if Quickley suits up, Shead still holds value off the bench. While the second-year point guard has struggled with efficiency of late, he has still notched at least 18.3 DK points in five straight games. During that span, he has averaged 5.4 points, 4.0 assists, 3.0 steals and 2.4 rebounds in 20.8 minutes per tilt.
