FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday brings six games on the NBA schedule, including a few good matchups as the Pacers play the Wizards, the Hawks play the Celtics and the Mavericks take on the Grizzlies. While the evening's slate should be fun, let's take a look at some cheap options available on FanDuel to hopefully make your night profitable as well.

Point Guard
Mario Chalmers, $4,300, MEM:
Chalmers has really benefited from a change of scenery as he has played at least 20 minutes in three of his five games with the Grizzlies. Increased playing time has led to increased production as well as he has posted at least 21.0 FanDuel points in four of his five games with his new team. He has a favorable matchup Tuesday against the Mavericks and could be a very nice play considering his bargain price.

Shooting Guard
Avery Bradley, $6,000, BOS:
Bradley is not an extremely cheap option Tuesday against the Hawks, but he can still provide plenty of value at this price. He is starting again with Marcus Smart (knee) out of action and has produced at least 35.7 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. His ability to provide excellent defensive numbers as well helps him to have a high floor as he has recorded at least one steal in each of his last five games. Expect another strong outing Tuesday.

Will Barton, $5,400, DEN: Barton has been an unsung daily fantasy hero this season as he continues to produce even though his price point is relatively low. He has been an offense force of late, scoring at least 17 points in four of his last six games. Add in the fact that he has recorded at least one steal in each of his last six games and he has come away with at least 30.7 FanDuel points in four of his last six games. It's hard to argue taking a shot on him again at this price Tuesday against the Clippers.

Small Forward
Evan Turner, $5,400, BOS:
While Bradley has moved into the starting lineup in place of Smart, Turner has had some minutes open up to him due to Smart's injury. He has played at least 26 minutes and posted at least 27.9 FanDuel points in both of his last two games. Although you shouldn't expect an offensive explosion from Turner, his ability to rebound and pass the ball make him a solid option at this price Tuesday.

Power Forward
Ed Davis, $4,400, POR:
I'm not too excited about the cheap options at power forward Tuesday, but I'd be inclined to take a shot on Davis if you want to save money at the position. Davis had a monster performance against a big Clippers team two games ago by posting 35.0 FanDuel points. Portland will likely need him to play a lot again Tuesday against Pau Gasol, Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah as they take on the Bulls. It wouldn't be out of the question to expect at least 20.0 FanDuel points from Davis, which would be about all you could ask for at this price.

Center
Ian Mahinmi, $4,700, IND:
Mahinmi and his ability to rack up defensive stats seems to always have me leaning his way if I want to go cheap at center. He has now recorded at least one steal in seven straight games and has blocked at least two shots in four of his last six games. While he is not an elite offensive talent and he doesn't play a ton of minutes on a nightly basis, he does enough across the board to provide value at this price and should again Tuesday against the Wizards.

Nikola Jokic, $4,300, DEN: Don't look now, but Jokic has posted a double-double and at least 32.2 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. The Nuggets need all the help they can get up front, so they are likely going to continue to increase Jokic's playing time if he can continue to produce. Like Mahinmi, his defensive stats are solid as he has averaged 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks over his last three games. The Nuggets are going to need his size Tuesday against the Clippers, so he might provide an excellent return at this price again.
