RotoWire Roundtable: Rankings for 60-game Season

This article is part of our RotoWire Roundtable series.

For now, we have baseball.

Major League Baseball is going forward with a 60-game season. It has lifted its transactions freeze, players will soon begin reporting to camp and (fingers crossed) spring training 2.0 will be in full swing before we know it.

Signups for the NFBC's new "Sprint" contests for the 60-game season are open, and after months of talking about how we'd theoretically handle a shorter season, it's now time to put those plans into practice.

Here is our first collective stab at ranks for the 60-game season. Look for an accompanying Q&A with the rankers coming to the site Sunday (6/28).

If you are unfamiliar with our Roundtable series...

Jeff Erickson's projections drive our custom rankings. I have a separate set of rotisserie rankings on our site, to offer another opinion on the player pool.

But there are always going to be biases in our analysis. To help weed those out and provide the best fantasy baseball rankings we can offer, we add the Top 350s of Todd Zola and Erik Halterman to the mix to compile this Top 300 composite ranking.

For these, we assume 5x5 rotisserie scoring with 23 active players (14 hitters, including two catchers, and nine pitchers).

You can sort the list below by individual ranker, and you can also sort by average ranking (AVG) or median ranking (Med). The default rank (Rk) is by AVG.
