Previous day: 3-1, +1.35 RWBucks
Season: 25-8, +11.11 RWBucks
Sunday baseball is my favorite, and as you can see my record reflects that. I just love how the lines are not very strong, lineups come out late and we can grab value all over the board.
Phillies at Rays 1:10 p.m. EDT
Late add to the slate. Rays are 14-1 last 15 games, but they crush as home favorites. They are 25-5 and 13-2 when home favorites between -100 and -150. The Phillies' lineup is without Bryce Harper.
BET: Rays -129 for 1 RWBuck
Marlins at Red Sox 1:10 p.m. EDT
Sandy Alcantara vs. Eduardo Rodriguez
Whenever I see ERod at home, it is a must play. It is just a matter of how you want to go about it. The Red Sox are 25-5 in their last 30 home games as favorites when Rodriguez starts. It looks like we could get a weaker Marlins lineup with Jazz Chisholm, Brian Anderson, Miguel Rojas and Adam Duvall out. This could be a very low scoring game in the first five or six innings, so I want to avoid that. I prefer going the whole game route as the Marlins bullpen can be had late by the Red sox hitters.
These triple plays have done well the last few weeks, so let's go with another:
BET: Rodriguez over 6.5 strikeouts (-112) for 1.5 RWBuck
BET: Marlins under 2.5 runs (+115) for 1 RWBuck
BET: Red Sox -1.5 runs (+120) for 1.5 RWBucks
Royals at Twins 2:10 p.m. EDT
Brad Keller vs. Matt Shoemaker
When you have a very high run total (9.5) along with a close money line (-135) it makes for a higher scoring game on both sides. Both pitchers have a strikeout prop of 4.5, which is rightly low.
Keller averages four strikeouts per game and Shoemaker is barely over three. Keller has averaged just 13.5 outs this season and his prop is at 16.5, so I love the value there.
BET: Shoemaker under 4.5 strikeouts (-145) for 1 RWBuck
BET: Keller under 16.5 outs (-105) for 1 RWBuck
