Pitcher
Justin Verlander, DET at SEA ($10,000): Since the All-Star break Verlander has been dominant, reminiscent of the years in which he was a six-time All-Star. In five starts since the break Verlander holds a 1.75 ERA (2.99 xFIP) and a strong 31.9 percent K-rate. The period since the break hasn't been quite as kind to the Mariners, who've hit for a 94 wRC+ over the past 30 days and just an 81 wRC+ over the past two weeks. Pitching away from home isn't typically desirable but Verlander does get a more pitcher-friendly environment than at home by traveling to Seattle.
Catcher
Stephen Vogt, OAK vs. BAL ($2,600): Baltimore's Yovani Gallardo has really struggled against lefties this season, posting a 5.90 xFIP while allowing 1.67 HR/9. Vogt's career split against righties is a solid 111 wRC+ (107 this season).
First Base
David Ortiz, BOS vs. NYY ($4,500): Big Papi has now reached a new level of extreme in home vs. away stats, with his home wRC+ a full 84 points higher than on the road. At home against righties Ortiz has maintained a simply insane split with a 224 wRC+ and .434 ISO. Yankees righty Nathan Eovaldi has also struggled against lefties to the tune of a 4.52 xFIP and 2.03 HR/9 this season.
Second Base
Ryan Schimpf, SD at PIT ($2,900): Schimpf's power stroke has emphatically carried itself forward from the minor leagues and he possesses a .336 ISO against right-handed pitching. The over/under in Pittsburgh sits at nine as of this morning and opposing pitching Ryan Vogelsong has allowed a mediocre 4.55 xFIP to lefties.
Third Base
Jung Ho Kang, PIT vs. SD ($2,900): Kang holds a spectacular home split versus righties with a 151 wRC+ and .278 ISO. The Padres' Edwin Jackson has a 6.12 xFIP and has allowed a 2.45 HR/9 against righties while away from home on the season.
Shortstop
Orlando Arcia, MIL vs. ATL ($2,700): Joel De La Cruz has mostly struggled this season. His xFIP against righties, despite being a righty himself, sits at 6.34. Arcia has now played in seven MLB games with the Brewers, the last four of which have seen him hit from the two-hole. He's been poor since getting called up but he had decent enough numbers in the minors plus the stolen base upside to make him worth rostering at this price.
Outfield
Gregory Polanco, PIT vs. SD ($3,800): Jackson has allowed a substantial 6.04 xFIP to lefties this season while Polanco comes with a strong 135 wRC+ and 10 stolen bases against right-handed pitching.
Ian Desmond, TEX vs. COL ($3,800): Desmond holds a 157 wRC+ and five stolen bases against southpaws while opposing pitcher Jorge De La Rosa has a poor 4.93 xFIP against righty bats on the season. The Rangers are pretty heavy favorites in the highest over/under game on the slate, with the number sitting at 10.5 as of Wednesday morning.
Max Muncy, OAK vs. BAL ($2,000): Muncy comes in at the minimum price despite likely finding himself in the two-hole against Gallardo (who, as stated in the Vogt blurb, has struggled against lefties this season). Despite being a below average hitter so far in the majors, solid stats in the minors and a great matchup makes Muncy a great value option at such a low price.
