We continued our Daily Draft series on SiriusXMFantasy on Sunday to draft the All-Time Chicago White Sox team. Joining Todd and I for the draft this time was SiriusXM producer and White Sox super-fan Bennett Karoll, who should have a natural advantage with his encyclopedic knowledge, nay, obsession with the team. Nonetheless, we decided to power through and draft anyhow, and I'm pretty happy with the results.
We're kind hosts, so we gave Bennett first choice in the draft order, and of course he opted to go first, selecting the The Big Hurt, Frank Thomas, because of his HOF career and his cringeworthy Testosterone commercials. Keep in mind that towards the end of his playing career and immediately afterwards, Thomas was one of the louder voices condemning his peers that used PED's. Still, Thomas was the obvious first choice here.
Todd insisted that I decide my draft spot second, so I took the middle slot and drafted second, going with Luke Appling, a HOF shortstop who is significantly better than the next best White Sox shortstop. Todd went old school on the wheel, taking Eddie Collins and Ed Walsh with his first two picks.
You can see the full results here - starting with the overall picks first, then a by-team listing.

In most of our team drafts, the outfield runs pretty deep, but the White Sox are the rare exception to that. I actually to fill most of my OF spots, in fact getting two seasons of Albert Belle (one of which was really awesome, the other merely good) with my last pick.
