2025 Cincinnati Open: Three American Seeds Among Wednesday's Best Bets

Fourth-round play begins Wednesday on the fast hard courts of the Cincinnati Open. A trio of American top-10 seeds will look to give local fans something to cheer about, while a big name on the women's side could face a tougher than expected challenge despite being heavily favored.

All men's and women's singles matches at the Cincinnati Open are best of three sets. A mix of players' previous hard court results, recent form and stylistic matchups can help pinpoint intriguing betting opportunities, both among favorites likely to cruise to victory and underdogs ready to pull off upsets. The aforementioned underdogs are highlighted in the Upset Alert section, the Lock It In section covers players who can safely be viewed as overwhelming favorites, while the Value Bets section recommends enticing options in matchups that are considered closer to toss-ups.

Cincinnati Open Tennis Picks: Upset Alert

Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (+550) vs. Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka's certainly the favorite in this match, but Bouzas Maneiro has a better chance than her long odds suggest. The ascendant Spaniard has been playing at a top-20 level the past few months, reaching the third round of the French Open, fourth round of Wimbledon and quarterfinals of the Canadian Open before getting to the fourth round here. Bouzas Maneiro has picked up four top-30 wins, including a top-10 scalp, during this strong stretch. Sabalenka looked vulnerable in her 7-6 (3), 4-6, 7-6 (5) third-round escape against Emma Raducanu, and two of the top-ranked Belarusian's three losses to players ranked outside the top 25 this year have come on hard courts.

Honorable Mention

Anna Kalinskaya (+140) vs. Ekaterina Alexandrova

Cincinnati Open Tennis Odds: Lock It In

Felix Auger-Aliassime (-240) vs. Benjamin Bonzi

Auger-Aliassime should be much more comfortable on this stage, as the big-serving Canadian is attempting to reach the quarterfinals of the Cincinnati Open for the third time in his career and make his 10th Masters 1000 quarterfinal overall. Bonzi has capitalized on a favorable draw to get here, beating Lorenzo Musetti on what is by far the Italian's worst surface in the second round and then the reeling Stefanos Tsitsipas in Round 3. FAA's a far tougher test in these conditions, and one the veteran Frenchman's unlikely to pass given Bonzi's uninspiring 10-15 record in 2025. This is the first time the 29-year-old Bonzi has reached the Round of 16 at a Masters 1000 event.

Taylor Fritz (-1100) vs. Terence Atmane

Fritz loves playing in fast conditions, where the big-serving American is almost impossible to break. The No. 4 seed has faced just two break points en route to the Round of 16 and saved them both. Atmane's already having the tournament of his life, as the 136th-ranked qualifier came in with just one main-draw ATP Tour win in his career, but the 23-year-old Frenchman's Cinderella run is likely to come to an end against last year's U.S. Open runner-up.

Honorable Mention

Iga Swiatek (-1400) vs. Sorana Cirstea

Cincinnati Open Tennis Predictions: Value Bets

Madison Keys (+120) vs. Elena Rybakina

Keys has outperformed Rybakina throughout 2025, so the sixth-ranked American's a nice value as a slight underdog against her 10th-ranked opponent. Both players get on the front foot early with two of the best serves on the WTA Tour and stay there with powerful groundstrokes. Throw in the fast conditions in Cincinnati, and all signs point to breaks of serve being hard to come by, which means this match could come down to a few key points. Keys should have the confidence to execute just a bit better in those pivotal moments considering she has won two hard-court titles in 2025, including her first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, where Keys defeated Rybakina in the fourth round. Rybakina's lone title of the year came on clay, and she hasn't been in peak form so far in Cincinnati, being pushed to 7-5 in the third set in each of her first two matches.

Honorable Mention

Frances Tiafoe (+120) vs. Holger Rune
