The second gameweek of the 2020/21 Premier League season had some significant fireworks, the biggest of which came from Spurs attacker Son Heung-Min, who bagged four goals in their 5-2 win over Southampton, a match that also saw Danny Ings register a brace of his own. Unsurprisingly, both saw their Golden Boot odds improve significantly, with Son moving from +6600 to +2000 on DraftKings Sportsbook and Ings from +2500 to +1600. Son's four goals co-lead the Premier League, tying him with Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who moved to four on the season thanks to a hat trick against West Brom. That effort moved Calvert-Lewin from +5000 to +1400, a figure that puts him with the ninth-best odds to take home the award.

Five other players scored multiple goals in Gameweek 2: Wilfried Zaha against Manchester United (at Old Trafford!), Aleksandar Mitrovic, Sadio Mane, Helder Costa and Neal Maupay. Of that group, Maupay had the biggest jump in his Golden Boot odds, moving from +10000 to +3300, putting him on equal footing with Sergio Aguero, Bruno Fernandes and Alexandre Lacazette. Not bad, Neal. Meanwhile, Zaha has three goals this season, level with Mohamed Salah, but he only saw his odds improve from +15000 to +10000. It's also worth noting that he took a penalty this past weekend after Jordan Ayew had an attempt saved (Zaha was over the re-take because David de Gea left his line), with those opportunities surely to be helpful in his goal quest if he keeps the role.

We also see the Golden Boot odds debut of Gareth Bale, who re-joined Tottenham this past week, though he is out for up to a month because of a knee injury. Bale would have to have an absolutely insane season to actually finish as the league's highest-scorer, with his +10000 reflecting that.
