FORWARDS/MIDFIELDERS

Phil Foden, MCI at WBA ($17): Without Kevin De Bruyne, it won't be as easy projecting Manchester City's production and that'll lead to a lot of lineups with three or four of their players. While De Bruyne is out, they're still a huge favorite against West Brom, who they drew 1-1 with a month ago despite racking up 26 shots and 20 chances created. City are expected to control possession again, and that usually leads to more corners, something Foden has taken over when De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez ($17) are not playing. That's the main reason Foden might be the best cash play after having a floor of 26.9 fantasy points against Villa last match when he took eight corners. However, since City have an implied goal total close to 2.5, it's reasonable to stack Foden with one or even two teammates. Raheem Sterling ($21) is the most expensive and has the same odds to score as Gabriel Jesus ($19). Neither have much of a floor, so it's kind of a pick-and-chose and hope you get the correct one. Bernardo Silva ($13) could take up more of a role on the ball, which would make him great value, while Ilkay Gundogan ($15) is oddly the team's most-in-form player with four goals in his last five starts. You could fade City completely, but that probably won't work in your favor because even if it's a scoreless draw, it's almost guaranteed they'll accrue shots and chances.

Patrick Bamford, LEE at NEW ($21): Bamford has a slight advantage in terms of goal odds of the projected starters even if he left a bad taste in my mouth after doing nothing against Brighton. He had one goal and two more shots on target in the prior meeting against Newcastle, which Leeds won 5-2. While they may not score five goals again, it's clear their style of play is a problem for Newcastle, who are having issues at the moment, losing their last three matches by a combined 6-0. Bamford is most likely to hit the back of the net for Leeds, while Raphinha ($14) is another floor value play having scored at least 13 fantasy points in six of his last seven starts. Prior to the Brighton dud, he was getting at least one shot on target and multiple chances created in almost every match. The downside for Leeds is that everyone is in play to make the score-sheet. They may win 3-0, but that could include goals from anyone on the pitch, including Rodrigo ($18) and Jack Harrison ($16). Kalvin Phillips ($14) has had the best floor in recent starts because of defensive stats, but he has maybe the lowest upside on the team.

Michail Antonio, WHU at CRY ($19): There isn't much else to consider in cash games outside of the two teams mentioned above, but there are always plenty of GPP routes. Antonio is doing one thing well and that's scoring goals, which is all you need. He has five goals in nine starts this season and Crystal Palace are always in play to allow goals. The downside is that Palace have played somewhat well at home of late, allowing one total goal to Arsenal, Sheffield United and Leicester City in their last three. There isn't much else to do in this matchup unless you think this is a Tomas Soucek ($15) game. He has a solid floor in a central midfield role, but he's more expensive than most at that position because he always seems to find himself alone in front of net off a corner. On the other side, Andros Townsend ($13) and Eberechi Eze ($12) are in play because of corners, while Wilfried Zaha ($17) is always boom or bust. 

Bukayo Saka, ARS at SOU ($16): If I had to bet, I'd take the under in this match. In addition to these teams playing to a 1-0 result over the weekend, Southampton have played a lot of low-scoring matches of late and Arsenal are on a run of four straight league clean sheets. Danny Ings ($17) will get looks in tournaments because he's a goal poacher, but the cash play is between Saka and James Ward-Prowse ($16). In addition to Saka having a higher floor, Arsenal are slight favorites despite playing away. Saka has also been awesome, scoring at least 18 fantasy points in each of his last five starts, producing three goals, one assist, seven shots on target and nine chances created. He's taking the majority of Arsenal's set pieces, which has turned him into a great, all-around fantasy player. Even if this match is a scoreless draw, Saka should still come close to 15 fantasy points because of how much he's on the ball, as well as defensive stats. There's not much else to like in this match, and the possible absence of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ($22) doesn't make things easier. I'd look at the set-piece takers and that's it for cash games, while Ings is the GPP shot above Alexandre Lacazette ($20). Theo Walcott ($13) scored in the prior meeting, but there's no way he's scores another revenge goal, right?

DEFENDERS

Cheikhou Kouyate, CRY v. WHY ($8): Kouyate should be back in the starting XI after missing last week's match for personal reasons. He's the only expected starting center-back at $8, and he's hit at least 9.1 fantasy points in each of his last four starts. If he doesn't start, you'll have to choose between a few full-backs in the later matches, with Oleksandr Zinchenko ($8) maybe being the best option. While his floor isn't as high, he has the best odds for a clean sheet and has hit double-digit fantasy points in his only three league starts this season. Following press conferences, it looks like there will be a few $5 starting full-backs between Emil Krafth, Jake Vokins and Yan Valery. None have guaranteed floors, but they'll allow you to spend at goalkeeper and Man City's top forwards.

Liam Cooper, LEE at NEW ($13): There are a lot of ways to go if you have extra money. Joao Cancelo ($15) and Kieran Tierney ($14) are the most expensive and maybe provide the most upside, but appearances on the score-sheet are rare. Cancelo has the edge over everyone because he's had at least 15 fantasy points every game, as he does a little bit of everything. I'm saving a few bucks with Cooper, who had a floor of 15.4 points in the first meeting against Newcastle. He has 14 interceptions and 13 tackles in his last four starts and it doesn't seem to matter the opponent. He's also as likely as any center-back to hit the back of the net, with one shot on goal in each of his last three starts.

GOALKEEPER

Lukasz Fabianski, WHU at CRY ($10): Fabianski has the second-best odds for a clean sheet and faces a side that may not start their top forward. He's made multiple saves in 13 of his last 14 starts and Palace have failed to score in four of their last six. Ederson ($14) is always in play if you have the money, while Alex McCarthy ($8) is a decent route after Southampton kept Arsenal scoreless a few days ago. Of course, Southampton are set to start two young full-backs and that'll be a a little harder to rely on.
