Carlos Vela (F): Vela is by far the most in-form player in MLS. The former Arsenal and Real Sociedad attacker is the team's most potent threat on the attacking front, as he has already scored 19 goals, the most by any player in the competition. That's not it, as Vela has also provided eight assists, which also lead the team. Those stats prove that Vela is of immense importance for the team, and the coaching staff will be hoping to see another stellar performance from their star player.
Eduard Atuesta (M): Atuesta has been a really important player for the club, averaging 2.1 tackles per game, a number which becomes even more impressive when combined with his 3.4 clearances per game (most by any player in the team). That's not it, as offensively Atuesta has scored a goal and provided seven assists, more than anyone on the team other than Vela.
Diego Polenta (D): The 27-year-old Polenta is averaging 2.3 tackles and 3.6 clearances per match this season, making him a vital part of a Galaxy back line that will surely have plenty of defensive opportunities against the stout LA FC attack.
