FORWARDS

Raphinha, LEE at WBA ($9,700): Pricing on this slate is a bit outrageous, and not in a good way. A quick look will show that no player costs more than $10,000, but any consideration that the pricing is soft immediately goes out the window once you start trying to build lineups. Raphinha is the most expensive player on the slate, but he takes set pieces for the biggest favorite and is facing the team that's allowed the most shots, shots on goal, crosses, chances created and corners in the Premier League this season. Here's a breakdown from our DvP page (all columns are sortable):

Despite being the biggest favorite, Leeds are still only -106 to win on DraftKings Sportsbook, but they produce enough fantasy points other than goals that you can almost build around them as if they were -250. Specifically, they have sent in the most crosses and are second in shots and chances created, so stacking Leeds is certainly a viable strategy if you can fit them in salary-wise. Oh, and Patrick Bamford ($9,100) has the second-highest anytime goal scorer odds, with three goals in his last five games.

Nicolas Pepe, ARS at BHA ($6,200): Arsenal rotated heavily last weekend against Chelsea but still won 3-1, so it wouldn't be overly surprising if they used the same starting XI, one that didn't include Pepe. However, if he's in then he should be expected to have a role on set pieces because Willian (illness) is out, with Bukayo Saka ($7,900) also a possibility for those opportunities. However, on a slate where pretty much everyone is over-priced, Pepe could actually be the cheapest available set-piece taker, which is pretty convenient since Arsenal are actually favored. Pascal Gross ($9,300) could be on dead balls for Brighton, and while he seems to sleepwalk to double-digit fantasy points when he starts, his price is close enough to Raphinha's that most people will probably just go with the latter. Additionally, Jarrod Bowen ($8,800) of West Ham could be a viable target for cash games, but just like everyone else, he's very expensive.

Alireza Jahanbakhsh, BHA v. ARS ($4,800): Jahanbakhsh isn't a guaranteed starter, but potential rotation could have him in an advantageous spot as a right wing-back in place of the injured Tariq Lamptey (hamstring). He is a solid attacking player when he gets the minutes, though that's generally been the problem this season, which makes 90 minutes seem like a stretch if he is in the starting XI. He won't have set pieces, but as potentially the cheapest wing attacker then he'll certainly be considered because fantasy players are going to have to pay down somewhere. Otherwise, you're looking at guys like Karlan Grant ($3,900) or Callum Robinson ($4,400) for West Brom, though Kamil Grosicki ($3,900) would be an interesting option if new manager Sam Allardyce decides to give him a run-out. If you'd rather stay away from the worst team in the league, Said Benrahma ($6,000) is a good attacker for West Ham, while Burnley's Chris Wood ($6,200) has the third-highest anytime goal scorer odds on the slate.

MIDFIELDERS

James Ward-Prowse, SOU v. WHU ($8,600): Ward-Prowse has the highest set-piece share of any player in the league and is favored at home against West Ham. Only Jack Grealish, Bruno Fernandes, Kevin De Bruyne and Pedro Neto have scored more floor points than him this season, and he is likely to be one of the most popular players in cash games despite a fairly high price. He could be on penalties if Danny Ings ($8,200, forward) doesn't start, and he's the only player in the Premier League with multiple free-kick goals (three).

Matheus Pereira, WBA v. LEE ($8,400): Pereira would have had a set-piece share similar to Ward-Prowse's had he not missed a few games due to injury, but he's the dominant set-piece taker for West Brom and a solid option against the team that's allowed the third-most chances created among teams on the slate. If Pereira does not start, we'll get cheaper access to the West Brom set pieces, though it's possible they move to a more defensive-minded player like Conor Gallagher ($5,200). Someone like Grady Diangana ($4,100) or Matthew Phillips ($4,600) could be possibilities too, but they seem unlikely for set pieces.

Moussa Djenepo, SOU v. WHU ($3,400): Djenepo's floor is pretty low, and he won't have any set pieces, but he's a cheap winger for a favored side, which could come in handy when having to spend up basically every where. Ben Johnson ($3,400) on the other side of this game isn't a bad play either, though it's possible he'll be playing as a left-back in a five-man back line, which doesn't provide a ton of attacking optimism. If you're willing to go this route, Pablo Fornals ($3,600) is a more attacking player for West Ham, who could give us cheaper set pieces in the form of Manuel Lanzini ($5,300) or even Robert Snodgrass ($5,900). That being said, the more realistic cheap set piece option is Sheffield United's Oliver Norwood ($4,800).

DEFENDERS

Charlie Taylor, BUR v. SHU ($4,600): Sheffield United allow the second-most crosses among teams on the slate, and Taylor is Burnley's most prolific open-play crosser, at least among expected starters. There are plenty of ways to pay up for a defender, but Taylor and, to a lesser extent, Matthew Lowton ($3,800) provide decent floors at moderate prices in a solid matchup. Of course, if you're in this price range, Ryan Bertrand ($4,900) would be a great target if Ward-Prowse doesn't start.

Ezgjan Alioski, LEE at WBA ($5,500): Alioski and Stuart Dallas ($6,200) face off against the side that's allowed the most crosses in the league this season, so it makes sense to consider them in cash games and GPPs. Fantasy players looking to pay up at defender will probably go to Aaron Cresswell ($6,400) because he has a role on set pieces for West Ham, though paying down slightly for Vladimir Coufal ($5,900) might be more beneficial because he's been crossing more recently without any corners. But again, Leeds have the best defensive matchup, so Alioski and Dallas are likely to be more prolific crossers.

Kieran Gibbs, WBA v. LEE ($3,400): 

GOALKEEPER

Sam Johnstone, WBA v. LEE ($4,200): Johnstone is the league leader in saves and faces the team that's forced more saves than any other than Liverpool this season. Given how much you have to spend at the other positions, it seems likely many will pay down for Johnstone because of the salary savings. Otherwise, Aaron Ramsdale ($4,400) and Lukasz Fabianski ($4,500) are close enough in price if you're worried about rostering a lot of Leeds guys and not wanting the opposing keeper.
