Tournament Preview
This week the European Tour heads to New Delhi, for the Indian Open. DLF G&CC will be hosting the tournament for the third year in a row. The Gary Player designed course is very difficult with undulating greens and blind approach shots. Water and rock formations are scattered throughout. Only 15 players finished under par last year. Accuracy and patience will be at a premium this week. Recent form will way heavily in selecting the picks. Over the years the leaderboards have been dominated by local talent.

DraftKings Picks
Jazz Janewattananond - $11,000 (16/1)
Janewattananond has played great golf his last three starts. He finished solo third last week at Maybank Championship and was T13 and T27 prior to that. He is trending in the right direction. Janewattananond has the ideal skill set to succeed at DLF G&CC. He is an accurate ball striker, ranking ninth in driving accuracy and 18th in greens in regulation. He missed the cut last year during an off form time in his game, but was T34 in 2017.
Matthias Schwab - $8,900 (33/1)
Schwab has had a steady season, missing only one cut in eight starts. His highest finish was T9 in Hong Kong. He played extremely well last year at DLF G&CC, finishing T4. He should match up nicely with this course, again this year. He is a good ball striker and is a strong scrambler, ranking 13th on tour this season.
S.S.P. Chawrasia - $7,400 (55/1)
Chawrasia had not made a cut this season until last week at Maybank Championship, yet he is very appealing at the Indian Open. He has won this event back to back and finished solo second the year before that. The missed cut last year doesn't concern me. The local has proven he is more likely to finish strong than not at his home open. Chawrasia is accurate off the tee, ranking 36th in driving accuracy, and he is 61st in SG: approach.
S Chikkarangappa - $7,200 (75/1)
Chikkarangappa arrives at Indian Open riding some good form the last few weeks. He finished T20 at Maybank Championship and was T17 in Kenya. He is a local that could show up this week and make some noise with low ownership. He is ranked 36th on tour in SG: approach. Last year he missed the cut in the middle of a down year, and he finished T34 in 2017.
